It was the first time I’d shot at Talton Lodge and I have to say it’s a beautiful house with huge windows allowing in lots of beautiful light for photos. The grounds are stunning for couple portraits too. The food was also exceptional 😋
Happy 1 year married to and 💍 I can’t believe it’s been a year already! It was an amazing day, with the ceremony at the family church followed by an epic ‘Abba’ after party on the family farm 💃🏼🕺🏻🪩

📣 Calling all brides 📣 You HAVE to do this is if you want those perfect wedding details shots ✨
1.) On your wedding day, ask your bridesmaids to gather your wedding shoes, jewellery, stationery, veil, dress and flowers.
2.) Hand them over to your photographer in the morning whilst your getting ready.
We arrive around two hours before the ceremony so that we have enough time to capture the beautiful details and all the fun moments of getting ready with your besties, before you walk down the aisle 🤍 Tag your bridemaids so they know how to help you 🙌

✨Calling all bridesmaids ✨
Helpful tips for you on the morning of a wedding day 🙌
▪️Keep the prep area tidy, hide all the bags and bits in one area so it doesn’t show up in the photographs.
▪️Take all of the flowers out of water an hour before the ceremony, gently dab the ends with a towel so you don’t have drip marks on your dresses.
▪️Get in your dresses first, so you’re free to help your bride get in hers and help with any other last minute bits.
▪️ And most importantly be on form, bring ALL the good vibes 🙌

This was a super fun and beautiful wedding in Liverpool we shot a few days ago!
Daniel is an old TV friend of ours and it was an absolute honour to capture the best day for him and his fabulous husband 🙌
Karl is a choreographer and a lot of the guests were fellow dancers and performers, which meant it was super FUN and PARTY vibes all day + night 🪩💃🏼

✨Wedding Day Flower Tips ✨ We'll often help with the first + second one... 🤍
⁕Make sure you dry the stems of all the bouquets at least half an hour before the ceremony so that you don't have water marks on your wedding dress.
⁕Ask your florist if you can have a few petals kept aside for your wedding photography. We can make those all important detail shots shine with beautiful petals placed against your veil, jewellery, shoes + stationary
⁕You can't go wrong with Peonies- they are very popular for a reason
⁕Don't forget to dry your bouquet. This is actually much easier than you think and you don't need to pay someone to do it. Hang the bouquet upside down, grab a super thin hair net or even extremely thin tights and gently wrap it around the flower end, maintaining a circle style shape. Hang it somewhere that's dry and that gets a lot of heat. I still have mine hanging off my dresser 6 years later. It actually makes our very basic dresser look not so basic after all. (Every time I say this one I think 'Oh I'll take a picture of it and show everyone' and then I completely forget when I realise I would have to tidy up said basic dresser 🫣)
