♥️Wayne's Funeral & Memorial♥️
Wednesday 5th July

♥️The committal will take place at Robin Hood Crematorium at 10.30am for close family and friends followed by a Memorial Service at Knowle Church, 12pm, which is open to those who wish to come and join our family pay respect to my, one in a million, husband

♥️After the service we will be having food and drinks at The Vaults where all are welcome to come and help us celebrate Wayne's life.

♥️We will be passing through Knowle High St at approximately 10am where the truck will be following the cars if you're unable to attend and wish to pay your respects another way.

♥️I will be sharing the link for a Memorial Page but we politely ask for no flowers but if you wish to make a donation to The British Heart Foundation you can do so via a link on the page.

♥️And lastly I request no black attire. The day will be hard enough but to see everyone in bright clothing can only help lift the mood. We absolutely loved our holidays abroad so think of a nice evening meal out, whilst on an island in the sun and you'll be on the right track 🏖

💙If you do plan on coming to the church service and The Vaults, please could you let us know so we have an idea on numbers. It would be much appreciated 💙

The That SmokeTruck family was rocked to its core last week when my amazing husband Wayne passed away suddenly.
Words can not express how we're all feeling.
Wayne was, That SmokeTruck. Although it was our combined vision, and I'm so glad we successfully achieved his dream, it was his unbelievable talent that got us to where we were.
Without him, it will never be the same, so I've made the decision to cease trading. We will be in touch with all those we are booked in with, but please be patient as we work our way through it.
Thank you to all who ate our food. Your support has been amazing & made a couple who did a tour of Texas, bought a truck, and had a dream, very happy!
Wayne, you were bloody awesome, and we love you!

Again, unfortunately, we need to cancel this evening due to staff illness.
We're not going to lie... trying to keep things going at the moment is tough! As we are all struggling with ever increasing costs & the crippling effect they're having on us, cancelling is a last resort!
We thought last year was tough with members of our staff taken seriously ill but a heart attack, accute renal failure & mental health illness later, we came back fighting!
It gets harder to bounce back, but we will try our best! Albeit extremely tough! 💪🔥

Unfortunately, last night, poor Smokey's fan belt went ping leaving poor Wayne and Sarah stranded in Stafford till 1am waiting for their knight in shining armour!

We have desperately been phoning around to see if we can get it sorted but as of yet, no luck! We will not stop and try our best to be in Knowle tomorrow but there's no way we can operate tonight. So sorry 😞

If anyone knows a mobile truck mechanic who may be able to help us then please get in touch, any help is much appreciated 🙏

We're making our debut at The Lamb & Flag, Little Haywood tomorrow night and looking to serve the lovely people some of our Smokey treats!
We'll also be in our local villages of Balsall Common and Knowle Friday and Saturday respectively. Due to attending a private event Saturday afternoon we will be starting a little later at from 5pm but we will be open till 9pm instead of 8pm so still plenty of time to get your orders in!
We're looking forward to a busy, busy weekend!

MENU DROP FOR SATURDAY!! 🍔
We won't be in Balsall Common tomorrow but we will be back at the on Saturday 3-8pm.
If, like us, you may be having a boozy one Friday then what better way to get over the next day fall out with one of our burgers (FYI the Dirty Fries are a godsend when hungover, apparently 😉).
So why not go for a "soak it up" Saturday and complete it with a hair of the dog from the beautiful people in The Vaults!
