BIG ANNOUNCEMENT !The time has come to say goodbye to our Amanda. After just over 10 years together Big A, le Bonne , mango, my sister from another mister is leaving Ava. I've cried ALL the tears and I'm obviously going to miss her like crazy. NOTHING IS PERMANENT !! So massive changes for Ava but essentially the show will go on ( just slightly differently whilst I find my feet) . We will still create all the magic and I will have All of these amazing images to remind me of just what we achieved together ❤ BIG LOVE TO MY BIG A❤ Wishing you all the happiness in your new chapter ###x

…..and what an amazing 10 years it’s been: working with the most creative work-wife you could wish for; the fantastic Ava team; and an industry full of talented individuals. There have been so many incredible highlights and lovely people who I’ve met along the way - it would be impossible to single any out.

I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 10 years - staying together longer than The Beatles! We’ve worked for hundreds of couples, incredible brands, and in some amazing venues and locations.

Amy has inspired me with her incredible knowledge and love for plants and flowers, a gift that will be with me forever. (I wish she could say the same about musicals and spreadsheets). But now it’s time to embark on my next exciting challenge.

I know Amy & Ava will go from strength to strength because that’s just how she rolls.

Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Wells, our latest postponement pairing, who tied the knot yesterday and celebrated at Thorpe Garden. Fiona and Darren chose a classic white and green colour palette but styled with contemporary black candlesticks and a slim floral arch. (Cake: another stunner from Ben The Cake Man)

With a nod to the hues of autumn that are on their way and stunning statement tapered candles, this was a very stylish affair. And here’s a little taster of Charlotte & James wedding, co-ordinated (for numerous date changes over the last 18 mons 😬) by Alexis Wedding & Event Planning - a gloriously decadent, garden-inspired look, with gold detailing and stunning crystal candelabras.

The Ava team pulled all the stops out last week, making two very special weddings come together. Thanks all, we couldn’t do it without you. X

It was a double-header today with Team Ava-Amanda at Hampton Manor and Team Ava-Amy in Staffordshire with Alexis Wedding & Event Planning.

Julia & Kevin had a super decadent floral scheme with stunning orchids, hundreds of roses and the most perfect blue and paper white hydrangeas.

The cake was supplied by Sugar Bliss Cakes and their stationery, depicting the Manor was created by Hu&Mee.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Brown, we hope you’ve had the most incredible day surrounded by all of your nearest and dearest. X

It’s a Hampton Manor hat-trick weekend for us, with three weddings back to back starting with Busara & Damien’s ethereal set-up.

So hard to do these gorgeous arrangements justice but they featured majolica spray roses, bleached fern and bleached ruscus, Bute! roses, pampas grass, white anthuriums and bunny tails to name but a few ingredients.

Busara made her guests place-setting favours way back in early 2020 ready for their original wedding date, so will be over the moon to finally see them gracing her tablescape this afternoon.

Congratulations both, so pleased that your day has finally arrived. X

So much to love about Alex and Richie’s wedding today at Hampton Manor - Earl Grey roses (I love my tea), tables named after Kylie songs (I love Kylie), succulents (love those too), slate grey napkins and slate place names as a nod to Richie’s Welsh roots.
