A Cornwall Wedding down at a lovely venue called Ash Barton Estate. It was the second time I ventured south (with a couple of overnight stays) to this venue. Fortunately this time we had some better weather. Wonderful grounds, brilliant people and such an amazing day! Congratulatiosn to Amy & Kevin :)

STARTING NOW - ON THE DAY PREVIEW GALLERIES

I am now going to be taking a laptop computer to Weddings with me to create a mini Preview Gallery of photos on the day. This is something that I used to do a long time ago. Many older customers will remember I used to bring my good old iPad mk1 with me to load up a set of photos and pass around the Evening Reception.

Whilst I don't have an iPad to pass around (at the moment) the aim is to make a small photo set and upload them to the Keylight page after the Bride & Groom have had the first look. Once the gallery is on here too, they will be able to link and share with their family and friends, like what used to happen years ago.

It is all to speed up things at my office with the editing and turnaround backlogs etc. so that I can sit and focus on full photo sets and full movies to edit, rather than have a selection of recent wedding preview galleries to make, which I'd also had to postpone while things have been so busy.

So it's onward and upward! Oh, also, please check out the three recent gallery post uploads on here, all taken with the Sony Alpha cameras and the new Sigma 35mm and 85mm f1.4 Art lenses (top of the range equipment).

Some more shots from another recent Weddfing with the new cameras and lenses. It feels like Christmas around here with all the new gear. And it has made capturing Weddings so much easier. With AI and Facial Recognition built into the cameras, they've 'learned' that I shoot Weddings. And so, even if I don't register the Bride & Grooms faces as the priority people to focus on, it assumes that "the person in the white dress is the Bride" and the cameras simply go ahead and pick them as the focus point!

And most impressive, is that I never ever use flash guns on the stills cameras - not even in dark discos! The older Canon cameras I had been using wouldn't be able to cope without flash. The Sony's treat dark conditions like a walk in the park :D

Another fantastic Wedding day using the new Sony A7IV cameras and Sigma 45mm and 85mm f1.4 ART lenses. They create beautiful blurring to the background whilst being incredible to use in dark interiors - especially great for red brick barn wedding venues. And a nice bit of sunny weather also a lovely touch :)

Some lovely photos from a recent wedding using the new Sony A7IV cameras coupled with the amazing Sigma ART Lenses (35mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4).

These are among some of the best camera gear available. So quick to focus and with AI and facial recognition, with eye-focusing, that getting the shot is so much easier.

It's great to add the Bride & Groom as the priority people in the cameras's memory, so that they get instantly recognised as soom as they're in the frame among groups of people.

Ok so I have figured out that my Facebook Messenger for the business page is only loading when connected to a WiFi signal, for some reason. When I am on location with 4G or 5G the Messenger is not loading new emails, but I can see there are a number of them coming.

I’ll hopefully get some WiFi at today’s venue so I can reply to them all. Thanks for bearing with me.

LANDLINE IS NOW FIXED. INTERNET IS ALMOST THERE NOW TOO.

BT Openreach had to come out and replace wires near the house as the new fibre optic cable engineersd had been pulling cables through the ground too quickly and friction burned other wires already in the pipelines under the ground.

In the next few days the uploading will commence once things settle at the exchange. Thanks for waiting :)

MAIN WEBSITE SERVER IS DOWN

Hi All, I have just discovered that the main https://keylightphotography.co.uk/ website is temporarily down, with a "403 Forbidden" message being returned. Today is Sunday and I will speak to the people who manage the site for me, tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, emails here and through the normal [email protected] are all good. There was an email downtime in the week and I have asked the hosters to check for any missed or unloaded emails too.
