Romantic, modern with rustic charm from a vintage double decker bus taking centre stage at the beautiful wedding venue.

This shoot combined modern wedding dresses, stylish champagne towers & vintage outdoor games for your guests to enjoy and as always full of fun, laughter and easy going vibes.

I assisted to style the venue in the morning. Then it was onto welcoming suppliers and keeping everyone to time, setting up the shots and getting creative amongst other talented wedding pros.

What a difference I make to your wedding day

A wedding coordinator is your best friend on your wedding day. There for you and your partner, at your side, coordinating every last detail behind the scenes so you can be fully present.

But it all starts before this, venue meetings, supplier meetings, coffee dates, regular catch ups. We are there for you from the start, a guiding light, tons of encouragement, advice and support. My approach is to simply make it happen with an abundance of kindness and laughter.

S&H's wedding day was uplifting and full of joy. I loved getting to know their families and being the person who make it all happen on the day. But don't just take it from me ^^.

Wedding Day Tip

These photo styles are called flat lays. A term you may not have heard before planning a wedding. They are a stunning way to be creative with all your accessories, stationery and beautiful items you have carefully chosen on your wedding day.

It could be your something old, new, borrowed and blue. Also let's not forget the groom (if there is one). He's important and let's be honest the wedding wouldn't be happening without him.

I love to do a daytime one prior to the ceremony and a fun evening one bringing together your party decor/accessories/food/drink.

Have a list of what you want include in these shots and make sure your photographer and wedding coordinator also has this so we can create some magic for you on the day. As part of my full wedding planning package I can create and plan this all out for you. Here are some inspiration shots for you.

3 things I know you want on your own wedding day...

1. To be smiling from ear to ear the whole day
2. Give your guests a day filled with fun, entertainment, delicious food, free flowing drinks, and tons of laughter.
3. To be fully relaxed, present and able to enjoy every second without worry & stress.

Even though these stunning photos are of a styled shoot I curated and planned recently, the model couple expressed how relaxed and at ease they felt on the day which really shows. That's always my goal as a your wedding planner. To give you those warm, uplifting, radiant feels all day.

Knowing that your hard work planning will all come together on the day resulting in these feelings is worth its weight in gold.

The feeling after a wedding when I know the couple have had the most magical day all because I do what I do.

Z&J had a South African wedding with a few animal surprises along the way. It was beyond epic and when I receive the photos I am so buzzed to share these with you.

💛 Husband Appreciation Post 💛

This man deserves his own post as I want to share with you all how amazing he is.

He likes EVERY single one of my posts, stories, reels, videos. I have never asked him to, but he does. His support towards me and my business venture has been nothing short of incredible. He texts me weekly telling me how proud he is of me and that I am amazing. Well now its your turn mister.

He supported me when I left Birmingham and moved back to Surrey for the first two years of our relationship.

He supported me when I said I wanted to go travelling alone for 4 months.

He supported me quitting my full time job 2 years ago with no other job lined up.

He supports me being away from home for weeks at a time travelling for work.

He supported me when I started this life passion of mine and he continues to push me as he knows I am capable of greatness.

His love, support and admiration fills me with so much warmth and drive to continue doing what I love. He lets me be my complete self and accepts me, faults and all. Neither of us are perfect and we know when the other is having an off day but we no none of that matters as when we are good, we are unstoppable.

He lights up a room with his smile, humour and the genuine warmth he shows others.

I will forever be laughing in his presence and grateful every day to have met him 10 whole years ago in a Wetherspoons in Birmingham.

I am blessed to be in a job which celebrates marriage, partnerships and deep connections. Let's shout about love!!

Hats off to all the women who made this styled shoot so special!!

Yes it was a 100% female team and such as honour to work alongside power professionals doing what we do best. I assisted in the set up and styling at the beginning of the day and then coordinating the shots when the fun began. Keeping everyone to time & hydrated.

It was full of support, kindness and lots of laughs.

Thanks so much to for allowing me to be part of your epic vision.

Fingers crossed I am able to work alongside all these beautiful women again soon ❤

Beat wedding planning overwhelm right now... here is how:

Yes I've said it, you've heard it before but trust me a wedding planner will save your sanity.

I know you are feeling like the world is on your shoulders, it's such a huge task, a full time job, you are trying to please others whilst spinning plates above your head, juggling balls with your toes and crying into a pillow. Extreme but perhaps true 😁

I have two packages depending on where you are in your journey.

No1 – On the day coordination. This is for you if you are already planning your wedding or want to plan most of it yourself. You require specialist support on the day to completely take the reins from you, make sure it all happens exactly how you want it. Public Service Announcement for wedding guests...

I'll get straight to the point. Wedding guests PLEASE do not enter the wedding breakfast room until told to do so. This includes trying to sneak a picture, finding your chair, putting your stuff under your table. This can ruin the photographers first look images of the room all set up. Know one wants go see bags & jackets in these professional photos. It's rather annoying 😂. The couple have worked so hard to make that space personal and special so wait until it's your turn to enter.

Rant over 😊

Top tip for couples – if you can curtain off your main reception space, close the doors, keep in hidden it adds to the surprise and you'll have beautiful honest photos of your guests coming in when the time is right.

Couples & planners spend years curating these spaces with personalisation at the forefront so just be a good guest please 😆😁

What information to include on your wedding invitations...

Key information is a must to include:

➡Your names 😁
➡Date & Time of your wedding
➡Address of the ceremony and reception venues (you may only have one address if they are at the same venue)
➡Finish time so your guests can pre plan their journey home
➡How to RSVP and when by. It is very important to give your guests a deadline even through be prepared you will have to chase a few.
➡Dietary requirements, ask your guests to include this in their RSVP.

Extras you may want to add on if applicable:

➡To avoid any confusion as to whether children are invited or not, be clear on your invites the names of the guests who are invited. This can either be on the envelope or have a separate "To" section on your invite.
➡Accommodation, taxi and parking details
➡Gift registry details - I have included this in extras as you don't have to include this, its completely up to you.

The life of a wedding planner on her honeymoon 💃

These last few months have flown by. My husband and I enjoyed a three week honeymoon in Bali. I continue to juggle running a business and working for other venues on large scale hospitality events & weddings. I also had the pleasure of assisting at a stunning family home wedding last week!!

Here's what I've been up to:

2. Assisted with a wedding coordination for at a marquee family home wedding 💍
3. Watching one of many sunsets at
4. Sipping on a G&T with lots of fresh lime - my go to summer tipple
5. Husband with his infectious smile 😁
6. Enjoyed a flower bath in Bali
7. Bronzed honeymoon couple soaking up the sun
8. Just another epic sunset
9. Island life on Gili Air

But it's not always fun and smiles when you drop your brand new phone in the River Thames 😭😭. This week has been tough, I am allowed to cry and be p***** off at losing some important business pictures and content but trying to remain positive and looking back over these memories I am very grateful ❤️

Three priorities you need to have when planning your wedding.

🔶Personalisation– This could include having a go at some of your own décor; asking friends and family to help; incorporating your passions in life. It all adds up to a wedding that has your personalities & story shining through at very corner which your guests will love.

🔶Fun – That feeling of wanting to jump up and down with excitement. Entertainment throughout the whole day is key. Music pre ceremony? Entertainment at your drinks reception, music for your grand entrance and picking the right band or DJ who knows how to bring the energy to the dancefloor during the evening. Add some surprises along the way!!

🔶Feeling – I will ask you this question a lot during our time together. I have said it before and I will say it again - how do you want to feel on your wedding day and how do you want your guests to feel. When there is a decision you are not sure about – asking yourself these two questions will give you clarity to make this decision and choose the right option for you.

Are you guilty of making this mistake:

Spending most evenings and weekends mulling over all things wedding related.

You are not alone, most of my couples tell me they need a better balance to ensure wedding planning does not take over their entire life.

My advice....

➡Don't forget about YOU during your wedding journey. What makes you happy and make sure you give yourself time to continue to do this.

➡Prioritize dates with your partner, a hotel stay or spa day.

➡Take some rest days with nothing planned but a walk through nature.

➡Invite friends & family over to update them, have a chat about what you’ve got planned. End the night dancing in your kitchen.

➡Summer Aperol's at the pub or wine & cheese in the garden. Yes I am ever hopeful the sun will shine more this summer!!

Can you tell I always make suggestions that are surrounded by food & drink 🤣.

Life is for living so I encourage taking a break from all things wedding related.

How to incorporate experiences, memories and fun to your wedding day:

Have you thought about including some games on your wedding day to bring people together with some light-hearted fun (competitiveness a given):

Here are some options for you:

➡Table games – Who knows the couple best or guess who bingo - these are easy to make yourself and a great way for guests to get to know each other across the tables. Come up with these with your partner and have fun designing them.

➡Lawn/Garden Games - if you have a outside space you are using for the drinks reception or perhaps throughout the day then why not include one or more of these - Corn Hole (can be personalised with your colours and wedding date), Croquet, Pitch & Put Golf, Giant Jenga.

➡Welly Wanging - if you love being outdoors & the countryside this is a great game for all ages to enjoy. The smiles on these photos says it all 😆

Who says you can't bring your favourite fair ground favourites to your wedding day??

➡Sack Race, Tin Can, Coconut Shy.

A bit of silly fun never hurt anyone!! There are so many games to choose from to suit your own style of wedding.

If you are a bride and thinking about doing a speech, here's what I think:

YES YES YES AND YES AGAIN ♥️

I adore this break in tradition.

✨️ Are there certain people you want to thank personally who have gone above and beyond for you whilst planning your wedding? These thank yous are probably going to be different from the standard ones included in most speeches.

✨️ Do you want to stand in front of all your loved ones and look them in the eye, letting them know how much their attendance means to you both?

✨️ Do you want to have that moment where you can talk about your partner and your love story from your perspective?

✨️ Perhaps you want to keep it short and sweet by doing a quick welcome speech before the meal or end the speeches in style with you on the mic.

If it's something you've thought about but not sure how it will go down. Just go for it, it's so special to speak at your own wedding and the brides I have seen up there are always beaming with happiness 😁!!

Top tip - make sure you are not repeating lots of thank yous that are included in other speeches. Have someone impartial check over the speeches beforehand.

Hands up if you’re a planning your own wedding which is all new as you’ve never done this before?

If that’s you then you are in the right place.

A little snippet of advice is don't be afraid to ask for help from those closest to you.

Ask yourself - right who can I ask to help me with this...

Friends and family do want to be involved and enjoy being apart of the planning. From helping with set up, design inspiration, helping to transport things on the run up or on the day.

If you are ever struggling for the answer, do you have you a friend who is already married?

Remember to be clear as to what you would like from them and your expectations.

Plan a catch up with your bridal party to fill them in on all the planning- offloading and getting their support and encouraged can also give you clarity that you are moving in the right direction.

➡️➡️Delegate, delegate, delegate - it reduces how much is on your plate and its joyous to see family and friends supporting you.

Or delegate to me instead 😁
