Well sorry we have been of radar for so long, we’ve been busy with our new brand over the summer.

However chef shack is back next week Xmas edition

We are bringing our Yorkshire pudding wraps with a Xmas twist

Turkey schnitzel, fresh cranberry sauce, roast potatoes, stuffing, cheese sauce, seasonal@veg wrapped in a yorkie pudding with a real turkey gravy

Also on the menu as a one off we are stealing back our buttermilk fried king prawns and serving with a Bloody Mary Marie Rose sauce for the ultimate starter

Buttermilk fried king prawns with signature bang bang sauce, sweet hot sauce, ranch dressed slaw and seasoned fries. This is a match made in heaven 🍤😍

This summer Digbeth Dining Club will be popping up at various locations around the West Midlands as part of their tour. I can’t wait for them to pop up in my hometown Lichfield next month! ✨

Buttermilk fried chicken strips over skin on fries, coronation Mayo, homemade mango chutney, coronation slaw toasted almonds.. if chicken ain’t your thing we can do out signature king prawns instead!!

We are devastated to let you know we will close our doors this Saturday to Stirchley Trading Estate for the final time.
Like every other individual and business, we have been battling with rising costs. We have just been presented with a 70% rent increase as part of contract negotiations with our landlord which has quite simply rendered our business unviable.
This is just the final nail in the coffin. Since we started in 2017, dairy costs have increased by up to 95%, flour has increased from by as much as 35% a bag.
We haven’t even seen the impact on our energy costs yet as we have been on a fixed price contract, but in the coming months we are expected to see an increase of over 180%.
The list goes on.
We have tried desperately to find a way forward but we cannot charge in the region of £8 for a loaf of bread when people and businesses are struggling to survive - that’s the equivalent increase to our own prices to cover our increased costs.
We’re also not willing to risk this business we have worked so hard to build going into liquidation and I am completely exhausted - working 14 hour days on four hours sleep is just not sustainable.
I hope this isn’t the end for Ten Four, I will continue the search for alternative premises and future opportunities. But for now, thank you so much to all our staff, customers and suppliers for all your love, support and loyalty over the last six years. It’s been a wild rollercoaster and an absolute pleasure to bake for you.

Favourite place to trade this one really looking forward to it

The sun is out and we are officially down to our last 200 tickets for next week’s event. ☀️

We’ve had a few questions coming through so we’ll do our best to answer them here:

- There will be some limited seating around, we’re going back to the more festival feel rather than a beer garden. Please feel free to bring camping chairs & picnics blankets with you.

- We will have live music from , DDC DJs and some family entertainment from

- The next date will be released start of next week, once this one sells out (Spoiler: it’s the end of June)

- Lots of veggie, vegan & gluten free options available.

- No dogs available to this one unfortunately, it’s castle policy within the grounds.

- No ticket required for under 5’s
