want to DJ, but if you want to explore the nightlife that Birmingham has to offer, or expand your music knowledge and taste then this is the place for you. It doesn’t matter what music you’re in to, between the current committee we cover various alternative genres and are welcome
to experiencing new ones. We’ll be throwing events and house parties throughout the year whilst keeping you all updated on what’s happening in the Brum scene, so you’re never going to miss the fun. At the end of the day we’re all about music, and want everyone to contribute to the growing love we have for it. Free access and use to the Union’s DJ equipment, for if you
want to record a mix or just play around with your mates.

Weekly drop in sessions as a group, or if you’d prefer a one
on one with a committee member that’s not a problem at all.
Discussions within the group regarding what music everyone’s feeling at the moment and any tips or tricks which could be useful.
The opportunity to add to the already diverse number of student DJ’s in Birmingham and get your career started. We hold a communal mixing session every Wednesday 6-8pm in the Societies Room on the 3rd floor of the Aston Students Union. To book DJ lessons message any of the committee, we operate at an hourly rate of £5, or £3 for members. Members get the first 2 hours free.
