That's a wrap for Midlands Whisky Festival 2024! What a weekend to remember! 🥃

A massive thank you to the 1,000 guests and 100 exhibitors who came along and made this year’s festival, our biggest and best one yet! The selection from our producers this year was outstanding with 400 whiskies from around the world - MWF24 truly rocked. You all brought the energy, the passion, and, of course, the love of whisky (and rum)!

To our awesome exhibitors who poured their hearts (and some stellar drams), you were beyond amazing! We’re already dreaming up next year - keep your eyes peeled for our 2025 announcement very soon! But first, our team will be taking some time to rest and reflect on the 2024 show - cheers to that! 🍻

It's time… the exciting reveal of Midlands Whisky Festival 2024. Our 20th show is bigger than ever and comes with a brand-new look.

Two floors packed with superb whiskies and a new room dedicated to authentic rum from across the globe. Our free-to-attend tasting seminars have also returned for another year, now held in the mezzanine space of the Food Court.

Our Tasting Seminars are now live!

These free-to-join tastings are a quick deep-dive into some of the distilleries and bottlers present at the show. A great chance to sit down and enjoy some drams without having to queue at a stand, all whilst regaled by some of the brilliant minds behind the brands.

This year's sessions will include an exploration of the Torabhaig Distillery with Stuart Dick, a preview of the latest Diageo Special Releases with Charlotte Barker, the first ever West Midlands whisky with Jordan Lunn, and a taste of the latest Nickolls & Perks independently bottled whiskies with Steven Cook.

As we welcome rum to the Midlands Whisky Festival offering this year, we're kicking things off in style with a superb masterclass from none other than Richard Seale, Master Distiller and Founder of the Foursquare Rum Distillery.

Through Richard’s leadership, this Barbadian distillery has earned a swathe of awards, including Outstanding Spirits Producer, Rum Producer of the Year, International Spirits Challenge 2021 Supreme Champion, and, a near-perfect 99/100 score for the latest Exceptional Cask Release, Equipoise, at IWSC 2024. This rare opportunity will allow guests to liaise directly with Richard Seale, a true master of his craft, whilst sampling six superb expressions from the Foursquare range.
