We give the students of Birmingham an alternative mid-week spot to party with multiple genres of music from house and DnB to RnB/Hip-Hop... TEKTU embodies what student nightlife should be all about - cheap, fun and great music. On top of this we create immersive production for all of our events which we aim to build upon as the party continues to grow. The music policy incorporates everything from

garage & house right down to hip-hop and drum & bass. Bringing together Birmingham's up and coming DJ talent for a showcase of what the second city is made of is what TEKTU is about and we aim to give new DJ’S a chance to showcase their skills. Our chosen venue, Lab11, has established itself as one of the premier destinations in a city well known for its nightlife and is known nationwide as one of the best venues for underground music. Packed out with a Funktion One sound system & the best reputation in the midlands makes Lab11 the hotspot for showcasing the best nights Birmingham has to offer.

TEKTU Birmingham was established in 2014 by a group of Birmingham students and since then has become Birminghams maddest mid-week student party, with over 1000 people regularly attending. TEKTU embodies what student nightlife should be all about - good people, good vibes and great music. On top of this we create immersive production for all of our events which we aim to build upon as the party continues to grow.
