I picked up this lovely workbook in a stationery shop in Valencia. Such a shame we don’t have many of these type of shops in UK anymore, thankfully there’s still a few.

I’m going to be putting together some new content for some workshops for 2025. I’ll be shouting about it when it’s ready

I can not believe it’s been so long since I have posted on here 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have been quietly working away being creative still alongside a new full time position for the last year.

Things I’ve been up to:
⭐️Ploughing my time into a new position working in corporate catering.
⭐️ Moving house.
⭐️ Finding my feet again.
⭐️Making and designing greeting cards.
⭐️Hosting creative workshops.
⭐️Writing chalkboards for regular and new clients.
⭐️ & lots of self care!!

Back taking on more work now and bookings for wedding, parties and all creative projects for people.

Hello!

I’ve been setting some new goals recently and am looking forward to upping the game a little work wise.

As mentioned in my last couple of posts it been a crazy busy summer and as we’ve suddenly moved into Autumn - my favourite season, it time to get things going.

New goals for Autumn 🍂:
⭐️Finalise Christmas Card & product collection and get production going, it advertised, markets & sales outlets sorted.
⭐️ Plan more creative workshops, get the dates out there!
⭐️Photograph all my work, projects and other things I make & do to make a kind of showreel so people know what I do.
⭐️Make a new list when I have done these 3 things 😀

Focus is important, always.

Whatever your focus is, was or you want it to be, we all got this 💪🏽 Our goals change as we do but one that always remains the same is to be happy 😀

Wow what a summer!

It’s been a wonderful time for the wedding & event industry since we’ve been able to have bigger celebrations again, everyone is and has been so up for it.

I have so many pictures & stories to share which I will get around to doing.

Over the summer months I’ve been working on 25 weddings, numerous big & small events as well as planning for the next couple of years. I’ve been busy writing chalkboards, making things for people and also having a little social life too as well as 2 holidays.

Balancing live events & weddings and still posting on here is something I definitely need to get better at, but I do like to focus on what’s happening and needs planning for these wonderful celebrations & events I get to work on and be part of.

2022, 2024 & even 2025 is getting booked up already. Crazy times.

Always feeling blessed I get to do something I love for work ❤️

Cheers to a very busy summer.

I managed to grab a few days away last week in Mallorca with the family and fully intended to have a catch up on my posts and what I’ve been up to but I decided to switch off a bit.

It’s been a busy summer of weddings and creating stuff and lots of planning in between, add in life and it’s been a bit wild.

I’ll get back to posting more when things slow down a bit. Definitely not complaining at all, love the busy busy life ❤️

I do harp on about Monday being my favourite day of the week but I will repeat my self once more.. .

I made my weekly visit to Albert's Schloss - Birmingham to do their chalkboards, arranged some more workshops for later this year, smashed a 5 hour planning session at Kitchen Garden with the crew and I just got home to cook dinner. I’ve been stuffed all day from that Coronation Chicken Bagel 🥯!

48: DON’T LOSE YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS.

We’ve all been different versions of ourselves throughout our lives so far and I’m sure as we evolve & get older we’ll change more but please never forget who you are or at least try not to.

For me, mindfulness has been a big thing the last 3-5 years and I continue practicing this as much as possible. It doesn’t always work but it’s definitely working more than it’s not.

Change is good though, keeps you on your toes, keeps things fresh & is how we move forward.

Make changes yourself instead of trying to change other people as some people either don’t want to change or are just not ready to let go yet. They have to want it themselves.

A bit deep for a Monday morning but I hope it makes people think ❤️ Have a lovely week everyone.

47: YOU HAVE TO FALL TO LEARN HOW TO FLY.

Falling, I’ve been doing a lot of that lately, metaphorically and physically. Thankfully I’ve had people to catch me, one way or another but now it’s all about continuing learning to fly.

Personal growth is something that doesn’t stop, you have to work at it, be focused & learn from any stumbles you may have. It’s a beautiful thing when you recognise it happening naturally to you.

Learn to move on, create the future you want.

Learn it’s ok to be you.

Learn that however many times you fall, you have to get back up.

& so much more.

I hope you all fly though this week and learn stuff, whether it be about yourself or other people.

I’ve had a truly creative month making cards & other items for a Pop-Up Christmas market all month & also for individual orders. I will work out how many cards I made at one point 🤪 Personally I have sent zero cards but will be sending New Year cards instead. All that coupled with a brief stay in hospital with Kidney stones (ouch 😳) it’s been a mad month and I’m looking forward to taking some time out over Christmas.
