Wow, what a night. I was actually completely prepared to be djing to myself last night as the weather was absolutely stunning, but Emily and Elliot’s wedding crowd had other ideas, they were on the dance floor all night, dancing to everything from disco to emo, indie to RnB. An absolute dream ending for me, I decided on a whim to end the night with Blur - Tender and it just seemed to hit the sweet spot and summed up the day perfectly, and after the track finished, Elliot, Emily and their nearest and dearest kept the chant going for a good while, an incredible moment. Elliot came up to me afterwards and said because of that moment Blur’s Tender will forever be one of their songs, it’s moments like this that make the job we do totally worthwhile. Thank you to all the staff at the incredible @shackrevolution for looking after us so well, and of course to Emily and Elliot for booking us and putting their faith in us to be the soundtrack to their big day

Another weekend, another great wedding for The Best Men. We knew Lydia and Adam’s wedding was going to be a cracker from the moment we met them for their consultation meeting, they knew what they liked musically and what their friends and family were into but were more than happy to let us take the reigns and put all their trust in us to keep the dance floor jumping and that’s just what we did. Thank you to Lydia and Adam for letting us be part of your big day and the great staff at @thebonddigbeth for looking after us so much, was also great to hang out with the incredible @electric_blue_photos too.

Throwback to 2019 when we shared the stage with indie royalty, Ben Ottewell from Gomez. Robert and Jenna are massive Gomez fans and somehow managed to convinced Ben to play at their wedding, blasting through Gomez hits and some beautiful covers, before Ben invited Robert up to join him on vocals for Whippin’ Piccadilly. After the most incredible of opening acts it was time for us to party and we really did have some fun. Huge thanks to Robert and Jenna for letting us be part of their amazing day and Ben for just being an absolutely lovely guy and all round legend!
