The School offer exams with Rock School (London), RGT (London College of Music) and Trinity College London. All our tutors are highly experienced, full-time musicians and all have full PVG disclosure. We have free parking at the school. In response to the COVID19 pandemic, we have invested heavily to make our school a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. ⚡️💥TUTOR TUESDAY💥⚡️ Here at Bishopbriggs School Of Music, we have an amazing team of tutors. 🙌 Each Tuesday we will introduce one of them to you. 🎶🎶 This week we want to highlight not only one of the senior Guitar Team but also a key member of the Management Team, Ross Barron. Ross teaches Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar and Ukulele. Widely regarded as one of the best guitarists on the UK Country/Americana scene and working hard as guitarist/ songwriting partner of Katee Kross; performing not only across the UK, but in the USA and Europe. He achieved an HND and BA in Applied music and has been teaching guitar at BSM for 8 years. In addition to being one of the most popular tutors in the music School, he is also a key member of the Management Team. Ross likes to keep his lessons both fun and informative. ⚡️💥TUTOR TUESDAY💥⚡️ Here at Bishopbriggs School Of Music, we have an amazing team of tutors. 🙌 Each Tuesday we will introduce one of them to you. 🎶🎶 This week we want to introduce you to not only one of the Guitar/Ukulele tutors but an integral member of the Management Team, Katee Kross. Katee is a highly regarded tutor, who develops musicians from never having held the guitar/ukulele to mastering those instruments. She loves to support her students throughout their musical journey and with her vast experience can offer real-life solutions to any challenges.  Coming from a very musical family, she knows all too well the importance of music. Her ability to take complex musical information and convey it to her students in easily understandable language - with her trusty highlighters - means that they understand the fundamentals quickly and develop faster. Outside of her teaching and management responsibilities at BSM, she is a very successful singer-songwriter with four albums to her name. Including 'Show Your Hand'. Which was given a 5-star review from one of Europe's leading country magazines 'Maverick' and won UK Country Album of the Year.
