Happy Christmas everyone... for those who want to visit one of the local Church services...

Sunday 24 December
St Michael’s Church Bishop’s Cleeve
Come along to either our 2.30pm or 4pm showing of the St
Michael's Nativity – a lovely, special service, where you can sing
popular carols and we can explore the story and meaning of
Christmas. Come dressed in your nativity outfits or borrow one
from the church when you arrive (arriving in good time before the
start is recommended).

St Martin de Tours, Woolstone 4pm
Join us for our popular crib service.

Midnight Mass Service in the Benefice Sunday 24 December
St Michael’s Church Bishop’s Cleeve at 11pm
Please join us for Midnight Mass, where we will share some
traditional carols and prayers. It is a lovely way to spiritually
prepare for Christmas Day and the arrival of Jesus in our lives.

St John the Baptist Oxenton 11.15pm
Come and join us for this traditional service and celebrate the
birth of Jesus. All welcome. First communion of Christmas.

10.00am Holy Communion at St Martin de Tours, Woolstone
9.30am Holy Communion at Church of the Ascension

Last Week!!
Our Christmas Elf is in 21 different shop windows – collect the names and enter the draw.
Entries must be received by 15th December
The entry forms can be downloaded here or found in the shops or Parish Council Offices.
For an extra bonus prize … re-arrange the initial letters of the elf names to find a phrase.
NB This is NOT restricted to children – adults are welcome to enter!!

FATHER CHRISTMAS is visiting Bishop’s Cleeve on his sleigh and touring the village! THIS SUNDAY 3RD DECEMBER!

Do come out to give him and his helping Christmas Elves a friendly wave and a big hello!

Here is his route and APPROXIMATE timings:

🎅 4.30pm – Father Christmas will start his tour at Cleeve School on Two Hedges Road

🎅4.35 pm – Father Christmas will turn onto Linworth Road

🎅4.40pm – Father Christmas will turn onto Tobyfield road and continue along this road all the way to the junction with Church Road

🎅5.00pm – Father Christmas will cut across Church Road onto School Road

🎅5.05pm – Father Christmas will turn right onto Station Road

🎅5.15pm – Father Christmas will turn left onto Gotherington Lane and continue all the way along to the Co-op at the entrance to Homelands

🎅5.30pm – Father Christmas will turn left onto Vale Road and continue all the way down to the Evesham Road/Sunrise Avenue roundabout. He will continue along Evesham Road to the junction with the A435

🎅5.50pm – Father Christmas will take a quick jaunt along the bypass and turn onto Sapphire Road in Cleevelands

🎅6.00pm – Father Christmas will head to the Cleevelands Co-op

🎅6.10pm – Father Christmas continues along Sapphire Road to Opal Way

🎅6.20pm – Father Christmas turns left on Opal Way, then onto Ruby Avenue, to finish back outside the shops on Sapphire Road

🎅6.30pm – Santa flies back to the North Pole!

These timings are APPROXIMATE so keep your eyes peeled for Santa’s appearance! It might take a bit longer than this to get around, it could be a bit quicker!

Christmas at the Kings Head Bishops Cleeve looks amazing!

Christmas celebrations are well under way here at the pub 🎄🎅🥂🕺💃🎤🎼🎸

We’ve got our annual kid’s Christmas party on Sunday 10th December….12.30-2.30 (last few tickets remaining for this event)

Cheltenham Races are on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December. We will be serving our race breakfasts to set you up for the day from 9am 🏇🏽🐎🏇🏽🍻🥂

Sunday 17th December we will be hosting our Christmas Grand Raffle at 3pm. You’ve gotta be in it to win it. Tickets will be available from behind the bar from the 1st December….and they are £1 a strip. We have a fantastic £100 cash prize, luxury hampers, wine, spirits, beers, chocolates and much much more. To round this event off we have the amazing Luke Brougham singing from 4pm-8pm….this cannot be missed 🥂🎤🍻

We have more live music on Saturday 23rd December so get voices in tune and your dancing shoes on🕺💃🎼🎸🎤🥂🏇🏽

Christmas Eve we are open 12- close….so why not join us for mulled wine, complimentary nibbles and lots of festive cheer

Christmas Day we are open from 11am-3pm for drinks only 🥂🍻. We are closed Christmas night!

Boxing Day we are open from 11am until close….our kitchen will be closed but you are more than welcome to bring in your left over turkey 🦃 😆

We have live music again on Friday 29th December with the talented Adam Lee from 7-11pm
