Autumn vibes…………. Our stunning wild wood collection is starting to make an appearance at venues over the next couple of months and we’re so excited!
We were back at the beautiful Blake hall for Patrick and Mel with our rustic signage and cake stand.

NEWS FLASH!
We have taken the plunge this year, after one of our lovely couples had nominated us for the Wedding awards.
We’ve entered! 🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣
It’s a bit nerve racking putting yourself out there like this, I’m not sure I’m even doing the right thing but here goes!

So here’s a huge ask!
We would really appreciate your vote if we have styled your wedding event and you didn’t think we were crap 🤣

All jokes aside…………..
The business really does mean the world to us in more ways than anyone could ever imagine.
It’s tough going running a business as a lot of you know our personal life can be extremely hard at times. It’s my safe space. My coping mechanism when things get tough and above all it’s helped me get through some very, very hard times.

So I’m holding my head high. Pulling my big girl pants up right up to my armpits and hopefully our little Emporium gets through the first round!

When the top notch wisteria arrives……… you know it’s going to be an EPIC wedding set up!

We’re definitely pushing the boat out………. This one’s going to be a big one on the design front. A bit nervous, I’m not going to lie just because it’s out of our comfort zone but you don’t get anywhere sitting comfortable these days.
With so many new businesses popping up lately, it’s a hard market to be in. So I’m crashing into my wisteria era! I’m totally ready for it!

With another delivery of it coming Tomorrow 🤪 it’s defiantly going to have the wow factor with 860 strands!

Beyond buzzzzz-iiiiinnnnggggg!

Feedback from the weekend!
Makes me feel all cozy inside! It means the absolute world to us, It was our busiest weekend of the year, so this means everything!

I’m working my way through replies and emails. If you’re requiring brochures and pricelist please do include your email in messages, this ensures we can get these out to you a lot quicker.

I’m on admin and table plan prepping today. So I’m around if you need me!

I’m not feeling very well at the moment. Nasty infection in my kidneys . On antibiotics and feeling sorry for myself. To be fair it’s knocked me for six…………..
Weddings are all on track and I’m still doing the set ups all being it a little slower.
Just to let you know if you do see me, I look awful and this is why🫣🥹

Dean is holding down the fort being superman as usual, it’s times like this that you know that you’ve found your person.

I’m resting up so messages will be slower. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Our welcome sign with a difference!

We loved supplying this . The lovely popped us a message asking if we could help with a welcome sign…… we had a larger booking the same day literally down the road and when Mary said there was a tractor involved, we just knew we needed to say yes!

We do love a good church wedding!
We were out last weekend for Chris & Charlotte and what a day it was.
They reused and re purposed their centrepieces, they started at the church. Then we arranged to take these back to their venue after the ceremony!
22 beautiful pew ends. A walk through arch to the entrance and our wonderful mini moongate welcome sign. It really was such a nice touch!

Getting the most out of your decor really is paramount!

We were back yesterday and wow what a set up.
Our walk through arch made its first ever appearance here, to say we have had this arch over 3 years now and it hasn’t been here I thinks criminal……….
I loved how it looked against the big open window space in the barn with their new oak table, it really did look special!

12 tables dressed with our ever popular high and low mix, worked a treat!
Sweet cart, cake stand, post box, order of the day, it really was a lovely booking.

Huge congratulations to Bradley & Rosie!

These packages are heavily discounted to help boost and promote them so we can obtain photos in venues. To help us get them out there!

Our Yours truly collection and bespoke package floral work really dominate our bookings which is so wonderful, but these three collections are just sitting there and it’s criminal.

Happy August!
I just wanted to pop up a post about this month. It’s an extremely busy time for us with 19 booked in the diary. New lines, new ideas, new venues, installations. It’s all happening and I’m here for it!!!!!!!

But there’s a but, we’re also parents to a very precious 8 year old that also needs us. Huey has a lot of additional care needs, along with prepping/set up and collecting.
I just wanted you to bear that in mind if I haven’t replied.
Just a gentle nudge here and there as my head is full to the brim with what I’ve got to do.
I appreciate the build up to the wedding can sometimes become overwhelming and when you send messages you expect a reply and Rightly so.

I just wanted to say with every ounce of me I’ll do my very best, just like always, trust me when I say I want your day to be just as magical as you do.
From time to time things don’t go always to plan, I can beat myself up in more ways than you could ever imagine. If I missed something minor (we’ve all been there running back to the unit if my cable ties aren’t in the van or we’ve forgot the keys when we need to load up!)
We’re all human.

I’m trying my best to keep calm under the circumstances. Not flap and tell myself we can do anything when we put our minds to it. I just ask for a bit of patience with me with replies if you drop us a message this month I’m here, somewhere, doing something for someone. 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

I put an enormous amount of pressure on myself to run the business to the best it can be. Our business means the absolute world to us. I hope you all can see that with what we deliver. 9 years in and i still panic, it’s because I care, probably a bit too much, ok, ok, border line obsessive care, but that’s me and you can’t change who you are!

Entrance goals……….. have the perfect entrance staircase. Love, love, love the ornate handrail, our foliage and florals fit the theming perfectly! What a statement!

Running your own business is hard. Extremely hard along with daily life and being special needs parents is a tough shout.
It’s certainly not for the faint hearted.

Admin, prepping,styling,late night collections night after night, table plans, cleaning things. Making sure items are just right for our couples. The lists are as long as your arm……………..

Some people think it’s easy when they see the end product. It’s not believe me. You question yourself when things don’t go quite right (and they do!) question why the hell you do half of what you do…………

Then something hits you and today this was yesterday for Andrew and Amy.
The weather was awful. We got stuck in and brought the outside in with this woodland themed wedding.

I’m beyond proud of this time last year I don’t think I could have pulled it off with designing this.

The compliments we had from people blew my ears along with the registrar when we came back to the venue to move items.

We had the best time open evening tonight.
Our sky collection looked amazing in the indoor ceremony room.

We dressed the outside gazebo along with the wedding breakfast!

Luna stealing the show at Jack and Lauren’s wedding!
I’ve just been informed this little photo shoot took 2 weeks to complete but so worth it!

I thought it was such a lovely personal touch!

Out full ever after collection out .
Lauren requested a high and low mix of centrepieces and it filled the marquee stunningly.

So lovely to see pink back in action. Just what I needed💕🌸🌷💕
