The parkland course has extensive views of the Pennine Hills and Fylde coast. The course measures 6,144 yards from the white tees, par 71 for men and 5,364 yards, par 73 for ladies. Our experienced pro shop staff, first class caterers and administration team will ensure a warm welcome to Blackburn Golf Club and that your day will be one to remember.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the extraordinary bravery of those who stood unwavering in the face of war. From the years 1914 to 1919, they left behind their homes and families to defend a future they would never see.

This plaque, engraved with names like Albert Ainsworth, Roy Arthur, and John Schofield V.C., serves as a poignant reminder of the courage that defined their legacy. Among them, stories of gallantry shine brightly—such as those captured in the London Gazette, commemorating the Victoria Cross awarded to Second Lieutenant John Schofield and Lieutenant Percy Dean. Their actions, under relentless fire, saved lives and exemplified the heroism that shaped our history.

Today, we remember their sacrifice. Lest we forget. 🌺
