Here’s a fantastic article from the Open University on the rise of Independent Wedding Celebrants in England & Wales!

Our training program teaches step by step the “Highest Level 3 Diploma Qualification” then if required the course leads onto how to set up and run your own business and work for yourself… everything you need from not knowing anything to working for yourself.

Obviously 🙄 this course will have a huge sprinkling of magic, new friendship and a fun element added too x

📣FANTASTIC NEWS 🤩

Independent Civil Wedding Celebrants could conduct legal marriages under proposed law change recommended to government today ❤️

The Law Commission has recommended to the government that the law to be changed to allow us to conduct legal marriages moving from a venue based system to an officiant / celebrant based system as seen in countries such as America, New Zealand etc

This would give couples far greater choice in who officiates their wedding ceremony and where their ceremony can take place.

Under these proposals, venues such as forests, beaches, private homes or local parks could be used for weddings without needing a physical address or building.

This would make weddings more affordable and accessible for couples everywhere.

We're excited to see these proposals become a reality!

10 years ago tomorrow 12th January we were incredibly lucky to be the first to be married at Festival House now known as The Wedding Chapel in Blackpool.

Little did I know then that this incredible journey would change my life and ten years on I am still leading weddings and totally in love with weddings and helping people celebrate their special day.

The Wedding Chapel changed our lives forever, as also in 2012 I trained to be a Deputy Registrar now have my own Wedding Celebrant business and soon will be offering Wedding Celebrant Diploma Qualifications to people who want to train in the wedding ceremony industry!

The Wedding Chapel is truly a magical place to have your wedding.

We were married on a cold January evening and have the best photos and memories of the sunset, the illuminations and the magic that Blackpool has to offer!

This video was filmed by a tram spotter as 12th January was the same day the new electric trams were launched, this gentleman wearing a bright yellow kagool walked into our wedding unnoticed (thank goodness he did) filmed the whole ceremony and posted it on YouTube and luckily we found it a few months later.

So weird how the universe makes things happen isn't it? I truly believe in magic, and this was my most magical day plus every single day I get to spend with my most amazing husband (when he is home) is magical!
