Hottest Day of 2024 so far… So, let’s talk Christmas…. 🌲

I do love a June Wedding. All the best to Ketty & Craig as we celebrated their special day at Singleton Lodge Country Hotel.

One question I regularly get asked “ Do You Have Lights”?

It’s not just replying that I definitely do have lights. I can also add that I use some excellent lighting fixtures. Plus, they are all controlled by some software that often found in some big theatres. To keep it all looking fresh, I regularly spend a fair few days adding new sequences.

So 1st Dances are illuminated in soft pastel shades. 80’s have bright vibrant colours. 90’s dance tunes get a bit of strobe.

There is also another good point. Should anyone have health issues linked to flashing lights. I have specific programs that are designed for that very occasion. So the lights will gently fade between the colours, yet still keeping a great party atmosphere.

It’s just what I do….. 🎉

One thing is really proud of is my music knowledge 🎶.
So if you want some top 70’s Disco classics, Cheesy 80’s, 90’s Dance Classics, or Naughty 00’s. I have it completely covered.

Maybe you want it a bit more specialised. A Northern Soul set, or some proper Rock, maybe it’s Soul & Motown that’ll fill the floor.

As a DJ, it’s my job to read the room. Then play the right music at the right time. Plus I think it’s important how the music is delivered. Some seamlessly mix, while occasionally adding a slight pause enhances what is played next.
