We have loved having so many people returning for a second adventure - our ponies just love the attention.
We try and keep groups small - with between 2 and 5 children.

Two of our superstar ponies- Haggis and Squiggles had a great day visiting lots of lovely children at Glenlaw House.
Squiggles loved meeting everyone and getting lots of cuddles, Haggis loved the opportunity to show off his personality, and of course the grass was just too inviting he had to have a roll on it😂.
It’s so special to us that our ponies have the opportunity to spread smiles and allow people to experience time with them🫶. We have the best job in the world.
👑 Why the headbands?👑.
A question we are asked time and time again.
So here’s the answer:
When we are at events all of our staff and volunteers will be seen wearing a distinctive headband. It may be a crown, ears, a unicorn horn. The reasoning behind this is that it can be scary for a small person to come into our pony area- there are lots of adults and lots of ponies.
To make it easier and more comfortable for the children we work with- we direct them with where to go based on the headbands.
*Drew with the crown headband is going to be supporting you today*.
Not only do the headband bring some fun, make us look younger😜 and more approachable but they also have a fundamental role in organising our pony experiences🫶.
We are also looking at ways to adapt and make your experience with us a positive one.

We are looking for someone to come and put up some stock fencing in our paddocks, preferably local with availability as soon as possible.

Our first Scottish Game Fair✅.
What a great experience we had at the Scottish Game Fair with our superstar ponies. We had not attended the Game Fair before so did not realise the full extent of the Fair.
There was so much to see and do with lots of different people all coming together to conserve the countryside.
Our ponies had the opportunity to showcase their work, meet lots of lovely people and spread smiles🫶.
They also got to have some new experiences themselves- from meeting and then hearing the Red Hot Chilli Pipers playing live, hearing the firing range close by, being next door to the axe throwing and so much more. We are in awe at our ponies and how they just love exploring the world and seeing new things.
Haggis was the star of the show as usual (even though he sleeps all day) and it was so special to hear so many people come to our stand specifically looking to meet him. He really is turning into a little pony celebrity🥰.
We need to thank every single person who came to meet us and our ponies, we really do appreciate the time you spend with us.
We need to thank our families (Sandra and Nicola) for supporting us on the daily, and all of the outstanding volunteers who waited on the ponies hand and hoof (Caitlin, Lizzie, Ellie and Summer). We appreciate you so much!

How exciting is that!?
Our ponies will be attending all 3 days of the fair (5th-7th June). We will be offering educational grooming sessions for a suggested donation and also meet the pony opportunities where you can get to know their personalities and say hello.
There is no minimum/ maximum age on our experiences and we are fully licensed and insured for all activities.
Come and spend time in the wonderful world of ponies before enjoying the rest of the day at the fair🩷.

Another great weekend for our therapony team. A bit different this weekend as we stayed at home and had our first set of pony adventures at our new premises.

☀️Newport Festival☀️.
WOW what a day. Our ponies attended the Newport Festival in Fife. The sun shone (our team are all a little sunburnt now) and the turn out was just fabulous! What a lovely community to be invited in to for the day!
Thank you to every person who stopped to chat to us, pat our ponies and donated to their care. It means so much to us and our ponies.
We also need to say a huge thank you to Sarah for inviting us, and Gillian at the Newport Hotel & Restaurant for allowing us to share your space. We also had two volunteers with us today, Ellie and Daisy- you are so appreciated and we couldn’t do it without you🫶.
Our ponies thoroughly enjoyed having a nosey at the outdoor pizza oven, popping to the spar for some snacks, listening to the live band and watching the children’s silent disco. A great day was had by all!

🐴 Our ponies are bursting with excitement to be attending the Newport Festival in Fife this weekend- Newport Festival. Come along and spend some time getting to know their unique personalities and even try grooming and decorating them for a suggested donation 🐴.
🌼Alyth&District Agricultural Show 2024🌼.
Yesterday 4 of our ponies were invited to attend the Alyth&District Agricultural Show.
The sun visited for the day and our ponies LOVED meeting so many of you.
Our superstar ponies took in the busy atmosphere like the professionals they are, and they were so relaxed we even had a couple (Haggis and Rosie) who wanted to lie down and sunbathe for most of the day🤦🏼♀️.
We offered educational grooming sessions where children could come in and meet the ponies, learn about the different grooming brushes- their names and what they are used for, and then try brushing the ponies for themselves. We then decorated the ponies manes and tails into some fun hairstyles🫶.
We also spent time chatting to our new local community, sharing our passion about the difference animal assisted therapies can make🐴.
We want to say a massive THANK YOU to each and every person who visited our stand and spent time with us, it is so appreciated.
We also need to thank the show itself for having us, especially the show secretary, Gail.
We are taking a few days to let our ponies and ourselves rest and will get back to your enquires and emails on Tuesday💤.

Due to our relocation and vision to grow into a therapy farm we were in need of a name change. We are no longer based in North Fife so the name had to be altered!
We can’t speak for you guys but we absolute love it!
Of course our ICONIC logo featuring HAGGIS had to remain, so we hope you can all still easily identify us at events due to our logo.
We are so excited to now be based in Perthshire where our brand will continue to grow. We have our first event in our new local community on Saturday at the Alyth show. We are super exciting to become involved with the community and meet lots of new faces.
We hope you continue to support us as we help one pony and person at a time. Please be patient with us as we begin to change our social media over to our new name. There may be a crossover for the next few weeks while this is all organised🫶.

🥳Celebrating 26 years of Fife Young Carers🥳.
An honour to be attending Fife Young Carers 26th Birthday Party today. Speaking to the staff today and hearing about some of the work they do is just incredible and we are so thankful we were able to support them today.
Haggis and Rosie loved their 4 hours of the attention and grooming they received, and it’s a big help to us as their winter coat is so hard to get out! They also got to see lots of motorbikes, some birds of prey, a karate demonstration and some therapy dogs- one of which was bigger than Haggis!!
A huge thank you to Fife Young Carers for having us along and a huge happy birthday from us🥳. Xx.

Wow where do we even begin… as some of you may already know, we have been looking for a bigger premises to expand our vision. We are so passionate about the positive impact that our ponies can have on people. But it’s not just ponies that are hugely beneficial to us… it’s all animals!
So we are absolutely ecstatic to be expanding our therapy pony team into a therapy farm! 🐷🐰🐮🐔🐴.
Being on our new land this weekend has just been a dream come true and a real pinch me moment for us. We have a lot of work to do but we are so excited for the journey - and with a view like that… who wouldn’t want to spend all day everyday in those fields?!?
We would like to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to Trish at Wormit Woolies for giving us the push to chase our therapy pony dream, and for supporting us during our start up months. We really couldn’t of done this without your initial support and we are so thankful.
Another huge thank you to Linzi at Newton Farm Livery for hosting us recently as we have been between premises. Not only has it been a lovely and friendly livery yard to be at but we have gained some invaluable advice to help us moving forward. It is so appreciated!
The last thank you has to go to you all! Our family, volunteers, customers, followers and supporters. Without all of your interest in the ponies and support we may not have felt confident enough to take this leap. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A full on weekend preparing for some plans we have in the pipelines🤞🏻.
Most importantly we celebrated this amazing humans birthday! Happy Birthday Drew! We love and appreciate you so much and couldn’t do this without you.
We managed a night away from the muck boots and ponies and had a great time with good food and even better company.
I’m sure you’ll all agree that Drew is the smiliest face you’ll see at NFTP and we wish her the happiest of birthdays💖.

Not only have you fully booked us for your events in June but also for July and August too!! We can’t believe it.
We are so grateful for all of your interest in our superstar therapy ponies and can’t wait to meet as many of you as possible over this summer. We are thinking on opening weekday ability during the school summer holidays so please do let us know if you have events in mind for our ponies to attend during that period.

Our gorgeous girl, Rosie. She is proudly modeling her personalised headcollar in her favourite colour.
The ponies headcollars are a vital piece of equipment. They work similar to a dog collar- allowing us to lead the ponies by clipping a lead rope onto them and the personalisation on them makes it super easy for you to remember the ponies name!
Due to the size of our ponies we have found it quite tricky to find headcollars that are small enough to fit properly. Another important aspect of the headcollar is the fit. As our ponies wear them most days, it’s a priority that they are properly fitting and comfortable. Luckily we did eventually find a company that can make tiny ones to suit the needs of our ponies, and I’m sure you’ll all agree that they look fabulous🤩.

A great weekend here at NFTP. The ponies enjoying some more exploring in the countryside and a very special girl celebrated her 7th birthday with us 🎂🎉. We had a great time playing dress up with the ponies, going on a pony adventure, playing games and doing obstacle courses and finally making some super cute friendship bracelets.
Thank you to each and every person who visited us this weekend, we love spending our weekends with you. The cutest visitor of the weekend had to be Sherbet, the adorable puppy in the photograph with Drew🥰.

A quick mid week catch up with you all after our ponies had a super busy weekend and start to the week. ✨
On Saturday our ponies went road tripping to support a local community initiative open day.
The day was packed with sunshine, music, laughter and lots of pony grooming sessions!
The ponies love having these day trips and they have never looked better thanks to all of the children’s amazing grooming skills!
On Monday the ponies had a visit from the vet.
Our ponies provide such a valuable service and it is of utmost importance to us that they are healthy. The vets were equally as shocked as most of you are when they meet the ponies- due to how tiny they are!
The ponies are enjoying a few days of rest in the lovely sunshine we are having before another busy weekend!

Our ponies can’t wait to meet you 🦄🌸
Grooming kits! These are our grooming kits here at North Fife Therapy Ponies. All of our ponies have their own special colour ❤️🧡💛💙💜 and their kits consist of -
• rubber curry comb - loosens up the dirt on the horses coat while also distributing natural oils into the skin
• face brush - a soft brush used for a horses face, it is especially used very gently around their eyes
• body brush - mainly used for the rest of the horse’s body, distributes oils which will make the coat shine, this brush is also used to loosen dirt and helps to remove loose hair
• dandy brush - has long and stiff bristles, this removes loose hair and dirt on the surface of the coat, the long stiff bristles allow you to collect all of this to brush away
• plastic curry comb - mostly used to remove mud and loose hair on winter coats
Our superstar ponies love their grooming kits and could all be brushed for hours! ❤️
