Participants of Ride To Horsa are not only honouring the heroes of D-Day and following history but they are also supporting the vital work of The Veterans Charity!

When you support The Veterans Charity:

- you help to feed a Veteran and their family with a comprehensive groceries delivery, preventing them from having to continue staring into empty cupboards.

- you help to provide urgently needed utilities support to heat and power a Veteran’s home, reducing financial pressure and distress.

- you help to provide brand new clothing and footwear for a Veteran, bringing a much-needed morale boost and enabling them to attend interviews or get back into life-changing physical exercise.

Military teams are very welcome on the Ride To Horsa!

The historic element of the route is a key part of the ride. The route passes through many historic and critical locations of D-Day and forms a superb battlefield tour with a unique twist!

We will also be taking in some stunning and historic scenery on the UK leg through Dorset including a feed station at The Tank Museum (Bovington, Wareham)!

Follow in the footsteps of the heroes who led the liberation in 1944 and help to honour their memory whilst also playing a part in the creation of significant new memorial at Horsa Bridge; one of the key objectives of 6th June.

We are making provisions on our camping locations for many tents, catering, cycle storage area, toilets, showers, water and our expert medical team from Face 2 Face Medical Ltd who will be providing cover throughout the event.

Matt Porter from Sportive HQ will be acting as our Ride Director.

We will also have numerous support crews and vehicles on route to assist with feed stations, marshalling and deployment of critical equipment including cycle racks.

A full information pack for military teams will be available to download from next week at www.veteranscharity.org.uk/horsa
