🎭✨ Exciting Changes for Laurel’s in 2025! ✨🎭
As we step into the New Year, we’re excited to share some important news with our amazing community. After four unforgettable years of leading the charge at Laurel’s, our co-founder and Artistic Director, Jamie Alexander Eastlake, has decided to step down to pursue new creative horizons.
We are endlessly grateful for Jamie’s incredible vision and dedication, which have shaped Laurel’s into the vibrant theatre it is today. But don’t worry—Jamie isn’t going far! He’ll continue to be involved in an advisory capacity, and we’re thrilled about the future plans and collaborations we’ll share with him.
But, as they say, the show must go on—and it absolutely will! 🎉
We’re excited to announce that a new team of passionate creatives is stepping up to carry the torch. Co-founder Stephen Robertson will take over as the sole Managing Director, while continuing his role as Head of Comedy and Production. Meanwhile, our very own Alison Stanley will step into the role of Head of Theatre and Programming.
While this marks a change in leadership, we want to assure you: it’s business as usual onstage and beyond!
In fact, we’re not just continuing; we’re evolving. In 2025, Laurel’s will expand beyond our much-loved theatre shows into recorded media with the launch of Laurel’s Productions! 🎬 This new venture will allow us to bring bold, creative work to even more audiences through scripted comedy, sketches, podcasts, and feature films.
Our mission remains the same: to bring laughter, connection, and inspiration to our community. Whether under the stage lights or behind the camera, we can’t wait to embark on this exciting new chapter with you.
Thank you for your continued support—we couldn’t do this without you. Here’s to new adventures in 2025! 🥂✨
Stay tuned for updates, and as always, we’ll see you soon at Laurel’s! 🎭❤️
