In 2021, we decided to turn our little patch of grass into a few raised beds with the aim of growing some veg and flowers. I planted some ranunculus, sweet peas and dahlias and waited for them to grow. It may have been beginners luck, but I ended up with lots of beautiful flowers and it kickstarted something in me. I’ve been bitten by the gardening bug. I wanted to give my experimenting an identity and in 2022 Valley Blooms was born. I’m still at the beginning of my flower growing journey and will wait to see what my little corner of Cornwall has in store for me this year, but I’m excited about sharing my experience with you, and if I get some gorgeous cut flowers that I can share with you too, even better. A x
