Our Lisa Townsend is always ready to work hard and to party even harder!
We are inviting you and your friends/team to glitter up and party with us at our Cabaret fundraiser later this month on the 28th Sept. We are planning to raise £882, which is what it costs to keep The Old Library open for a day.
Our acts are being announced this week!
Did you know that 60% of our emissions come from audience transport?
We recently calculated our carbon footprint for the year 2023-2034.
This is a great way to track a sustainability journey and see where progress needs to be made.
Why not calculate your own carbon footprint and find out what you can improve on? You can do this for free online in minutes!
Or find out our carbon footprint breakdown by following this link: https://intobodmin.co.uk/carbon-footprint-analysis/

Did you know that food grown in the garden gets eaten in the cafe?
That’s right! The specials board in the café is always changing and this allows us to include food that has been grown in the garden. This massively reduces emissions as the food miles become just a few steps. It also means that the food is at its freshest and tastes the best.
There are many other things that we have been doing at intoBodmin to keep emissions to a minimum.
For example
-Reducing the usage of single use plastics
-Composting as much waste as possible
-Reducing energy usage through solar panels and increasing efficiency.
Why not share a sustainable switch that you have made in the comments.

Did you know that 72% of our audience gets here by car?
As an organisation we have been working to reduce our carbon emissions and now we need your help!
Audience transport makes up around 60% of our carbon emissions as an organisation, with the majority of this coming from car journeys.
Whilst we understand that being in a rural area cars become the default; over half of our audience lives within walking distance of the venue! There are also several public transport options available if this is not possible.
To find out more about getting to us sustainably please follow the link bellow to the getting here page on our website.
