FILM AT THE HALL
Autumn Season🍂
September sees the return of 'Film at the Hall.' We have three cracking films for the forthcoming season.
It's a fun night out without the hassle of parking or driving home!
All films start at 7.30pm with doors open from 6.45pm. Bar and snacks available.
Tickets £5.00
(members of CFylm) and £6.00 for non-members.
Tickets available on the door or on-line via 'Ticket Source' for which a small admin fee is levied.
Our first film is on Friday 29th September.

The sun shone on the final day of carnival week and what a fantastic week it was!
The VH committee would like to congratulate St Tudy Carnival on yet another brilliant week of events and appreciate the hard work and planning that goes into creating such a successful carnival.
A huge thank you to everyone involved and to your continued commitment to making the big carnival in a little village so enjoyable for all.
Here's to the 2025 carnival week.

Archive footage of the D-Day landings will be shown on the big screen at 3pm 🎥

Free entry - with a collection for the Royal British Legion.

We are delighted to announce that the Garden Safari is definitely happening! Amazing gardens of all shapes and sizes for you to visit and enjoy over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd June.
Please look out for our posters, nearer the time.
Tickets, which will include a map with all the gardens, will be available from the Village Hall from 10.30am.
On Saturday, between 11am and 4pm, light refreshments, including made to order sandwiches, cakes and drinks will be served in the hall.
We are also delighted to include our beautiful Grade 1 listed church as part of the safari, who will also be offering tea and cake.

🌼🌸🌿The arch is up and the hall is ready to welcome you all to the third St Tudy May Fayre TOMORROW, 5 May!! 🌿🌸🌼

We've got Morris dancers💃, Cornish wrestling 🥊, an ice cream van ice 🍦, face painting 🎨, craft and competition stalls, Lara's tea room ☕, pasties 🥟, the bar will be open 🍻, maypole for YOU to have a go, raffle, and the welcome return of James Dundon and his organ 🎶 🎶 !!

Lots and lots to see and do - doors open at 12 noon. £3 entry, 50p for children. The bar will accept card payment, but otherwise cash only please.

📣📣St Tudy May Fayre 2024 needs YOU! 📣📣

We will soon be asking for volunteers to help set up and run the various events on Sunday 5 May which form part of our successful annual May Fayre 🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼

But right now, we have two other asks:

1) are you a craftsperson who would like to have a stall in the village hall? It’s only £10 for a table and we will welcome all manner of potting, sewing, crocheting, making, fancy goods etc from around the local area 🎨🧵🪡🧶

2) are you a juggler or hula-hooper or know someone who is? We are thinking about having a couple of people (or a troop!) mingling with the crowds showing off their circus skills as part of the event and would welcome any contacts or thoughts 🤹‍♀️🤹‍♂️🎪

We are please to announce St Tudy has been selected to host the first Cornish Village Olympics.
We will welcome a visiting team from St Breward to enter our Cornish games we have planned.
Keep an eye out for team sign up sheets and an event list which will all have a Cornish theme and be a whole lot of family fun.
