When you're asked to set up a wedding in a bright colour combo and your not sure, it takes a while to think how it's going to look.
This happened when we met Tracy & Warren last year to discuss their wedidng. Purple & orange in a mainly blue room I wasn't sure about, but then we met them again in the new year. Tracy now had her wedding dress which was purple lace and I had a thougt, purple lace on top of the orange would be perfect. We loved the combination and so did they, along with our deco balloons and hoop behind the sweetheart table, plus table dressing for the cake table which had their cupcakes on from Baking the Dream the colours worked well together at Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel last month. When you have ginger hair and braces as a young girl, very shy and teased(bullied) at school, no way wold you ever think you could own your own biz, organise wed fayres or a photo shoot.
I’m glad to say running Inflate 2 Create has changed me, being part of an amazing wedding community has helped me grow my confidence, and one of my proudest days was this week with our photoshoot.
It was set in the stunning location of Arundel at the beautiful Norfolk Ams hotel. We had some amazing suppliers providing flowers, stationery, hair & makeup, our beautiful dress, accessories & suit, cake, celebrant, car and Richard our photographer who kept us on track with timings & has taken some beautiful photos. We all had a great laugh and even the rain didn’t damper the day. There were some hiccups along the way and last minute changes but we were determined to have a great day helping each other.

I would like to say a massive thank you to my hubby Chas Clark for stepping up with me to be models for the day, I love you lots and had a great wedding day with you. Thank you to Michelle & the team at Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel for keeping us fed and watered all day, thank you to all the suppliers for your hard work and standing by me to the end, and to Richard for helping us all feel so relaxed and taking some amazing photos. Here are a few of the photos taken on my phone during the day by the lovely Charlotte, I will post some of the professional ones, once we have done all the important bits with them for advertising.

Another lovely wedding at Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel a couple of weeks back for Leona & Alan. They had our white covers with rose gold sashes which matched the ties perfectly, we also dressed the cake table & top table. The backdrop and flower wall was supplied by Maiden Moments Events and the stationery by Iamcwdesign We wish Leona & Alan all the best for the future. 🥂

We started our adventure into venue styling when my 2nd cousin Natalie asked if we would dress her wedding venue with chair covers and sashes. How is it 11years ago! Where has the time gone. We would like to thank Natalie & Shane for their trust in us and wish them a very happy anniversary, we would also like to wish my cousin Roger and Siobhan a very happy anniversary too. 🍾🥂

This time last year it was a lovely sunny day and the 2nd wedding we set up over the bank holiday weekend.
When we were asked to quote for balloon décor little did we know it would be our lovely marble orbz balloons that would be used.
We had the pleasure of decorating the Chichester park hotel for Martin & Neil's wedding, lots of orbz balloons, columns and table dressing, we were also asked to make the main buttonholes. We wish Martin & Neil a very happy 1st anniversary, we hope you had a lovely day and thank you for asking us to decorate your wedding venue. We also had a lovely time going back in the evening for their fun 80's themed wedding reception.

Where has the time gone, Happy 1st anniversary to Karen and Neil. We dressed the lovely Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel last year in lavender linen sashes and white covers for their wedding. It was a lovely warm day and the 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️looked picture perfect. We wish them many more happy years and hope they enjoy their day today 🥂🍾

We are planning a photo shoot next month in Arundel and i'm looking for a couple who would be happy to play our Bride & Groom for the day. You will need to be available all day on the 11th June, a bridal gown and suit will be available plus hair and makeup on the day. The photographer can meet you before the day to get to know you but we don't want anyone who's shy of having their photo taken or being filmed. This is all to help promote the venue and the suppliers on the day and should be hard work but lots of fun as well. If you know anyone who might be interested please DM me asap.

Another lovely wedding at Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel last month. Our couple wanted a soft blue with silver lace which worked perfectly in the ballroom, and our Post box with a blue handmade flower.
The lovely flowers for the centrepieces and top table were supplied by Manor nursery. We wish Andrew & Emily all the very best and hope everyone had a lovely day.

We were invited to be part of the 2 day venue showcase at pavilion at the weekend. Our balloon décor and chair covers were on display along with some local suppliers.

Our first Wedding breakfast setup this year at Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel was for Hayley & Michael on the 18th. They chose a lovely lilac and gold combination for the sashes, and then 2 of our personalised balloons by the top table. The cake table was dressed with lilac and the top with the gold, all the centrepieces were made by the bride and looked very pretty on the tables. We wish the happy couple all the very best for the future

Weddings are my passion but when you’re asked to set up a function with just balloons, it’s you back to when you started this wonderful adventure. That happened a couple of weeks ago when we were asked to set up Reds at Butlins for a Rugby function. The theme was London and the colours were underground stations. 18 tables with balloon clusters in 6 different colours and then 6 tables to represent the age groups, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12. 5 columns were also setup and there were lights everywhere.
The Ladies who organised it put up bunting, Pom poms and streamers. We hope everyone had a lovely night, including the 500+ children. Thank you to Karen Etherington Vocalist for recommending us, it was great fun but lots of balloons 🎈 9 x 40” helium filled large numbers, 15 x helium filled foils for the columns and arch, 288 airfilled balloons for the tables, 240 x airfilled balloons for the columns and finally 23 sets of lights.

Good morning! The sun is shining and we are getting ready for today’s wedding setup. It’s lovely to be back at the Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel dressing the ballroom for their weddings. Thursday we we setting up for Hayley & Michael to have their wedding breakfast and today it’s Richard & Elaines wedding. They will be having a lovely church service before going to the hotel. We wish both couples all the very best. 🥂👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

When you’re asked to make something last minute for a 10th birthday with a marvel theme. It was lucky we had a couple of avenger balloons in stock. Happy birthday to Brandon for yesterday, double digits now.

Busy week for us, inflated number foils on Wednesday and airfilled 288 small balloons yesterday. Today I have another 200 balloons to aigill for 5 columns and chas will be helium inflating a further 15 round foils. I also have some vinyl cutting to do, making up weights, cutting ribbon and setting up lights for the columns and table decor. All ready for a job at Butlins tomorrow. Lots of colour to play with

It’s a lovely sunny Sunday morning with a slight breeze today. I thought I would pop in here today and let you know about some National days for 7th April.
It’s National “Coffee cake day” originally started to celebrate the making of a coffee cake, now many years later it’s more of a flavouring than a full on coffee cake, so today I’m out with friends to have some coffee and a slice of cake, as I don’t like coffee cake 🍰
On a more serious note, it is also National World health day, National no housework day, I’m so owning that one 😂
National make the first move day - this is a serious one, helping people to understand that no one should be bullied, whether it’s a school, at work or on the internet. I was bullied at school and work and it’s hard to deal with when you don’t know what to do about it. So let’s all look after each other today and always.
Enjoy your cake, put the hoover away and make sure the ones you know and love are ok.

Looking for a special celebration cake, then look no further than Crafty Cakes Bognor Lyn made a delicious cake for hubby Chas Clark in August to celebrate a special birthday, and last Saturday I had a special 80’s themed cake made plus a little French fancy cake for my sister. Lyn made exactly what we asked for and the taste and texture of the cake was really good.
