Did you know that almost all my work is created using sustainable floristry techniques?
When I first trained, I learned to work both with and without floral foam, and I have to say—working foam-free is my preferred method not just because of the bad environmental impact. Using chicken wire, moss, or even just water brings a natural movement and flow to arrangements that foam just can’t replicate.
I’m passionate about being as sustainable as possible, even in an industry that still has a long way to go. 🌎 While I can’t rely solely on British-grown flowers year-round (running a business through summer alone wouldn’t keep the lights on 💡), I do my best to source locally when I can and work with incredible Dutch suppliers for the rest.
Every single installation I create is built using sustainable techniques, and I couldn’t love them more. 💐

Sustainability is really important to me, I always try my hardest to use sustainable techniques. Moss is a popular floral mechanic and I do most of my designs with moss or simply water and chicken wire.
These gorgeous woodland inspired centerpieces were used this weekend and they looked incredible finished off with some mushrooms.

Keep it really low and tilted slightly. It can vary a little depending on the design, however a simple rule is low and forward. We will always go through the best way to hold it when we present it to you.

Incorporating plants into your wedding florals is a great way to add some difference and be a bit more sustainable. We used lots of plants for this wedding even through the arch. They were all repurposed, potted, loved and still thriving.
Working more with plants is my next big learn, I would love to use them throughout my work, especially in larger installations.
