Celebrating International Volunteers Day!
Today, we honor the incredible efforts of volunteers worldwide who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to making a difference.
A huge shoutout to Sue and Gordon—two of our amazing volunteers who help keep our Farm running smoothly:
Sue spent years training our donkeys and has recently taken on the alpacas. Her dedication to our animals is unmatched.
Gordon transforms into Santa every year, bringing joy and magic to our festive events.
Without their tireless support, we’d truly struggle. Volunteers like them are the heart and soul of what we do! ❤️
We’re also proud of our ongoing partnership with One Woman At A Time —an organisation that embodies the true spirit of volunteering.
Unlike others, they don’t funnel funds into high admin costs. Instead, they channel resources to create real, life-changing impact for women and girls in Kenya.

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas… (sort of!)
It’s 1st December, the official start of festive fun, and what better way to kick things off than by sharing something guaranteed to make you smile (or laugh)?
I’ve just returned from Kenya to find that Team Wellbeing has gone full-on festive mode by recording a little Christmas song for our wonderful customers!
Now, let me tell you—we may be brilliant at organising and hosting events, but when it comes to singing… well, let’s just say we’re no threat to the charts 😂.
But what we might lack in pitch-perfect harmonies, we make up for in heartfelt festive cheer. 🎄✨

With over 11 years in the wedding industry, we’ve developed a deep love for sustainability. One of the insights we gained early on was that many couples were buying beautiful décor for their big day with no plan for it afterward. And so, our Prop Shed was born!🎉
Now, this dedicated space is filled with a wonderful array of décor donated by past couples – from elegant vases to chair ties, candles to rustic log slices, and so much more. This "Aladdin’s Cave" of décor is completely free for you to explore and use! Feel free to select as much or as little as you’d like to make your day truly unique.
Our passion for sustainability is fuelled by this community spirit. By sharing these resources, we reduce waste and empower couples to create their dream day without needing to buy new items, all while saving on costs. Each wedding now contributes to a greener planet – and that’s a legacy we’re proud to be part of!♻️

Meet the one and only Father Christmas himself and If you're lucky enough to be on the Nice List then perhaps you'll be lucky enough to get a present from his bag!🎁
You'll find an array of eco-friendly stalls offering unique and handcrafted gifts. There's something for everyone! And it wouldn't be a Wellbeing Farm fair without a visit from our fury friends – the llamas, sheep and alpcas, who will be strutting their stuff in their festive outfits!
So, bring your family and friends, and join us for a Christmas fair like no other – where magic, sustainability, and llamas unite to create unforgettable holiday memories! 🌟🎉🦙
We will also have a special puppet show as always for the little ones who want a festive treat!
As this is a 'Making A Difference' Christmas Fair, there will be a cash entry fee of £2 to go towards our chosen charity!
Danny and Stacey only booked nine months in advance and were our first ever couple to get married in our newly licenced small ceremony room! However their wedding was absolutely unbelievable and we loved every moment of it.

The Wellbeing Farm certainly isn’t an ordinary wedding venue. Situated in the picturesque moorlands of Bolton, Greater Manchester; we specialise in relaxed, fun, and quirky weddings. Weddings where everything from the food, to the styling, to the entertainment, can be tailored to suit you. We certainly don’t do cookie cutter weddings, and we ensure this by making our farm exclusive hire, so your special day is fully yours.
Does the idea of tailoring a wedding completely around you sound daunting? It’s not. We’re there every single step of the way on your wedding journey. Need to talk about the food options on the day? Have a meeting with us. Need décor for the wedding barn? Take a look in our prop shed. A week before the wedding and you’re feeling nervous? Come in for a cup of tea and a chat. No task is too big, or too small, for us here at The Wellbeing Farm.
We’re the perfect country chic venue for you to create a unique wedding experience that will reflect your personalities. We can hold up to 170 guests for the ceremony, and up to 300 for the evening reception. Amenities on the farm include: a tipi, a fire-pit, a bo***ir, two locations licensed for weddings, two indoor bars, and an outdoor bar too! Another major attraction is the wildlife on the farm, you’ll never be more than 10 seconds from a picture with one of our friendly llamas, alpacas or donkeys.
Not getting married? No problem! We’re a multi-purpose venue, with the facilities to hold birthday parties, corporate parties, bar/bat mitzahs and much more!
