This past week I've been laid up with Covid again! It is still around and it is probably almost impossible to avoid it completely. However, here is my answer to a recent query about hygiene measures:
"I use one brush per child, soak them in an antiseptic wash afterwards, then wash all brushes when I get home or when I get a chance at the gig. All sponges go in a washbag and go in the machine at home and get zapped in the microwave. Gel and glitter are applied with a cotton bud which gets thrown away. I used to be a nurse and after covid I am uber-keen to be hygienic."
I hope that's reassuring to anyone who is worried. I have also completed a hygiene course post-covid. These measures will help to guard against other infections too, although one can never be 100% sure, as children mix with each other all the time and they aren't always great with their own hygiene! Please contact me if you have any concerns or specific worries.
