After a while the my interest in tutu making faded as my sewing knowledge gradually increased. I mainly make things my children ask me for.

What started as a little hobby making costumes, clothing and accessories for the littles in our lives, has developed into more of a crafting journal where i share all my recent makes. We came about after i 'dabbled' a bit in making tutu's for friends and family for various fancy dress parties and photo shoots, and someone suggested i start selling. Dresses in funky fabrics, dress up costumes and h

air accessories. I also post about my craft adventures. I have to keep my hands busy so be prepared for lots of cross stitch and knitting posts too. This is mainly just for fun and to keep me sane! Making my way through 60 mini masterpieces in cross stitch. First one finished “cat with red fish” by Matisse. These are so cute!

This is Sue in her favorite boots. Sue crossed the rainbow bridge just before Christmas last year. I recreated her boots with some terrible French knots, and made a replica jumper based on one she knitted herself. Sue has been gifted to her wife to cuddle on the tough days. ❤️

Finished this Magical kitty summer dress this morning. It’s age 3 and being gifted to a friends little. I love making this dress pattern, it’s a shame my *not-so* little has outgrown all the sizes.

Cardigan update… Back, arms & cuffs attached. Need to finish the front panels and the collar/trim. I severely underestimated how many squares I would need 😭

I know the end result is going to be beautiful, but if I ever say I’m going to make another granny square cardigan again, please remind me of how much I am loathing with such passion, the whole project. Just how long it takes to make the squares, attaching together and weaving in ALL these ends. And this is only sleeve 2😭

Charlie is coming along nicely. He’s got some clothes and trainers - just need to make him a hoody. This isn’t my normal doll pattern, so it’s been fun adapting this new one to fit. Original patterns are Knitcraft Tiny Dolls by using WI yarn
