Our training and meeting room can seat up to 30 people depending on layout style, whilst it is perfect for classroom sizes of up to approximately 12 people.

We cater to all kinds of occasions, from funerals and birthdays to christenings and family reunions. Our downstairs function suite can seat up to 40 people inside both the Gallery and Conservatory, plus the use of our scenic garden on nice summer days.

After the sad and recent closing of our Riverside Cafe we would like to take this opportunity to let you know that The Black Sluice Lock Cottages will be reopening from the 1st September 2022 as a hospitality and function suite.

The venue boasts:

We offer ful refreshments services including a licenced bar and buffets upon request.
