Happy September! I was lucky last year that many of my weddings for this month were bathed in sunshine. I will hope that’s the case for my four Sept 2024 . ☀️ 💒 Another three new venues to tick off also. ✅
They start TODAY! Looking forward to seeing Paul and Tina later for their intimate ceremony .torphichen in West Lothian.
Next Saturday - I’m at .bishopbriggs for the ceremony of Geraldine and Donald.
The following Saturday - a nice local one for me in Motherwell for Julie-Anne and Colin.
The month rounds off with a long awaited return to one of my favourites - in Giffnock for Nicole and Darren on the 28th.
All that ahead of an extremely hectic October and my busiest month of ceremonies to date! 😮💨

🚨 I AM A FINALIST!! 🚨
Wow. I am delighted and a little overwhelmed to be saying that I am shortlisted in the Your Scottish Wedding Awards 2024 Celebrant of the Year category!
To get this in only my second full year in the job is something I’m very proud of. 🩵
To all of my couples from last August to this July who took the time to vote for me, I cannot thank you enough. ❤️ Knowing this has come from the people you made a difference to means the world.
The big night is DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central on Nov 10th. Will be a great night! And let’s just see what happens eh?

Holiday time! A hugely busy first half of the year between writing and conducting ceremonies and the day job. Time for 10 days R&R and ☀️ with Mrs E in Cyprus. 🇨🇾 ✈️
All set for another 19 ceremonies between now and the end of the year once I’m back! 💒

Weddings are of course a massive part of what I do . However, I offer different types of ceremony too!
💒 Affirmation Ceremonies: perhaps you were legally married abroad, are a foreign national who wants to travel to Scotland or have been legally married by a different belief body? Why not arrange a big celebration in front of your friends and family with symbolic gestures and guest contributions? We can do all aspects of a humanist wedding except the legal paperwork and declarations. ✅

A double planning session tonight hotel tonight with & along with &
I met both of these couples here at the January 2023 wedding fayre. So much has happened and so much has changed in that time for us all! It’s amazing to think that those weddings that were 21 months away at the time are now coming up! And here we are putting all the pieces together to make them the most perfect days.

Delighted to welcome & Scott to my 2025 diary! We had an excellent coffee and blether and their mind was made up that night that they were saying !
Looking forward to adding another new venue to my list too - the historic in Glasgow’s West End. Driven past many times so will be good to stop by!

A new month is on the horizon! And it’s a bit of a quieter one for me for ceremonies - as I’ll be spending two weeks of it in the ☀️!
But before that, I return to this Saturday to the to marry Mary and Alex - first of FOUR weddings to come there before the end of the year!
Next Saturday, I’m looking forward to my first visit to on the banks of Loch Ard in Stirlingshire where Hayley & Chris will say ‘I Do’ in an intimate ceremony.
Then, straight back into it after hols and a return to historic in Glasgow for the ceremony of Pauline and Thomas.
Looking forward to each of these weddings but also can’t wait for a switch off after a very busy few months!

A brilliant couple who complement each other perfectly. Lots of plans for their ceremony - many of which will involve friends and family. And a fun story involving walks, dogs and failed attempts at hillwalking. 😆 Can’t wait to get started on their ceremony script. ✍🏼

Whenever a couple enquire about booking me for their ceremony, I always insist that the chats are no obligation, and that it’s important to choose the right person to officiate your wedding.
Imagine my delight then when & Bradley confirmed their booking literally five minutes after we spoke! ☺️

Into the 2nd half of 2024 already! Here’s hoping the weather picks up for July eh?
I’m all set for another half dozen this month - five of them in new venues!
It kicks off on Friday when Katie & Jordan say their “I Do’s” at in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
Then on Saturday, I’ll be spending my birthday marrying my good friend Ryan and his fiancée Danielle at !
Next Saturday, it’s all about Chloe & Stuart and their big day down in Ayrshire
On Friday 19th, I’m back up at the Bonnie Banks for Caitlin and Josh’s ceremony before a return to beautiful on Wed 24th for the wedding of Monique & Stuart.
Finally, I’m excited for a first visit to .co.uk down in Laggan for the ceremony of Abby and Martin.
Each of these couples have been absolutely tremendous to work with and I am honoured to be able to make them husband and wife. Here’s to some truly memorable days, guys!
