Finally a lovely bit of sunshine here in the Vale of Belvoir this week and hopefully there are some brides having an outdoor ceremony soon!

The garden is starting to look alive again, our Bramley apple blossom is looking stunning and we can’t wait to get back to the whispy Jasmine, Clematis and all of the British frothy blooms! Let’s hope this lasts for the bank holiday weekend!🤞

There’s no denying it, we love a church wedding!

With their beautiful exterior and the huge potential internally, churches look elegant and dramatic dressed with flowers.
Couples are always mindful that the ceremony doesn’t last that long and whilst that’s true we are all about making the most of your flowers and how to reuse them at your reception venue. Whether it’s big floral urns, pew ends or floral arches over the entrance doorway, we can transfer anything to your reception to make the most of any budget!

A beautiful summer bridal bouquet using some of the best of British flowers and foliage….what a feast for the eyes!

Thanks to and two suppliers we have used frequently over the past year and always deliver the best British cut flowers and foliage. Not only that…we are also blessed to have them just down the road from us in the Vale of Belvoir which means zero air miles!

A none flowery post today.

It’s not easy to take a 6 year old’s idea for a birthday cake and make it into reality but Granny really pulled it out the bag this year!

Most of you will know my Mum in one way or another, from wedding fairs and wedding set ups, to friends and family. She’s so creative in so many ways often drying flowers and experimenting with ways to preserve wedding bouquets or helping with set ups and arrangements and of course making cakes!

She’s not only my unpaid partner in business but she’s also the very best Mum and Granny anyone could wish for.

A very Merry Christmas to all the mums and grannies out there, you are very much loved. 🥰

We have been busy over the past few months creating and refining flower casts. And here’s a sneak peak at what’s to come!

In 2024 we will be offering this service alongside our dried bridal bouquets as another option for preserving your wedding flowers!

We are showcasing some of our smaller framed pieces at our only Christmas market this year at Colston Bassett. They make beautiful gifts so if you’re local come and have a look for yourself and see some other brilliant unique independent businesses while your there! Friday 24th November 6-9pm at the village hall. 🎄

For the loveliest couple last weekend,
Ivory and lilac with a special request for snapdragons and alstroemeria. We love to tie in meaningful flowers, it makes the arrangements so unique and bespoke to each and every couple we work with.

What a wedding season we’ve had, now onto our autumn and winter weddings with toffee colours and woodland themes. Can’t wait!

A bit of role reversal today, my mum’s always there for me at wedding fairs and pop ups and today I’m in support of her beautiful work up at @engineyardbelvoir She’s the brains behind our preserved and dried flower art, so for bespoke pieces and preserved wedding bouquets or home decor come and have a chat or drop us a message.

A timeless pale pink and white wedding for @holly_clara and Jack back in December. What a day, we absolutely loved being a part of this wedding, we were made to feel like part of the family from the moment we met!
