🎨 Calling Local Artists! 🌟
We’re on the hunt for four talented artists to collaborate with communities across South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) and create permanent public art pieces in Grantham, Bourne, Stamford, and the Deepings, thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

📍 Project Title: Our Place, Our Art
This exciting project will celebrate the unique identity, history, and culture of each town. The final works can take the form of murals, sculptures, mosaics, or other creative displays, installed in prominent public spaces as symbols of community pride.

💡 Project Objectives:
✅ Reflect community identity & history
✅ Enhance public spaces with engaging, interactive art
✅ Foster community involvement in the creative process
✅ Promote inclusivity, showcasing diverse voices

🖌️ Your Role Includes:
• Community Engagement: Lead at least 5 workshops to gather ideas and input from local residents.
• Design & Create: Develop and bring to life an artwork inspired by community stories.
• Document & Promote: Share your journey through photos and updates, contributing to SKDC’s promotions.
• Installation & Unveiling: Oversee the artwork installation and celebrate with a public unveiling event.

📣 If you work in any area of the creative industry, as a freelancer or as part of a business, established or just starting out, please join us for this creative networking event.

💬 The group will support each other to raise the profile of local individuals, businesses and organisations, and bring potential partnerships together. We will also work collaboratively to share opportunities for training and professional development, volunteering and fundraising.

We hope that these sessions will develop into something that is useful and informative for people who work, or would like to work within the arts and cultural sector. SKDC will host these sessions 4 times a year in different places across SKDC, providing a space for SK Creatives to get together. 🎨😄

Nature Elly is a puppet theatre show created especially for 2-5 year olds, full of interactive fun, beautifully written original music and a cast of stunning and adorable animal puppets for little ones to meet. There is also a free, interactive workshop before each show, and both shows and workshops include integrated British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation. 🦊

🦊Workshop - Little ones and their grown-ups will go on an adventure to learn about the animals that Nature Elly meets in the show, complete an obstacle course to find the fruit and vegetables on the farm and create your own animal mask. 🦔

Elly runs the best little farm in Lincolnshire, but not everything is going to plan. The corn is trampled, the apples have vanished, and there’s hay everywhere! 🐾 What’s going on? Join Elly and her friend Bob the Pheasant to fix the farm and solve the mystery of the animal hiding in the haystack just in time to save the harvest!

🎭 Nature Elly is a heartwarming puppet theatre show, specially designed for 2-5 year olds, with adorable puppets, interactive fun, and original music.
