2026 is going to be our biggest year yet as we hit the grand old age of 5 and we hit go on a bunch of new plans that have been in the pipeline a while! More on that soon though…

For now, we’re looking to add to our amazing team with an experienced barista who knows their coffee, loves people, is equally happy mucking in on food, and is keen to take the next step in their coffee journey!

Ideal start would be late-December, with between 24-32hrs up for grabs (plus potential of more), working between both our Southbourne and Westbourne sites.

Bits & bobs of Autumn so far, and what a lovely time we’ve had.

We’re about to hit busy busy busy season (with some big things on the way 👀), so October has been a very welcome calm before the storm.

We probably don’t shout enough about our food menu over in Southbourne, so here we are having a good old shout: IT’S GOOOOD!

Big hitters on the new Autumn menu are the Banoffee S’mores Croffles, the Peach Cobbler Croffles and the Autumn Bruschetta. And as always we’ve got the Brunch Flights for when you just can’t choose!

We’ll be here all weekend with good food, tasty coffee and plenty of gorgeous flowers.

90 sleeps til Christmas, not too soon to mention it is it?

That can only mean it’s about 60 til our Wreath Workshops start, and about 2/3s of tickets are already sold!

We’re running 9 events this year, between both stores, and have all the usual festivities in store! Mulled wine, festive tunes, in-depth tuition, and plenty of time to craft the perfect wreath to adorn your door.

SINGLE VARIETY BUNCHES

If you’ve been into store this week you’ll have seen alongside our bouquets a load of our favourite stems, simply bunched - no filler or variety. You know us, we adore creating gorgeous bouquets, but sometimes every stem deserves to shine and be the main character. Well that was a lovely little week away with the family. Here’s the ONE photo we managed to take where everyone was looking vaguely in the right direction! Thanks for bearing with us this last week while we paused deliveries and went a little quiet on the socials and emails. We were so grateful to get a break, and have come back refreshed and re-energised for this next season of LP!

DRIED WEEK

It’s always one of our favourite events of the year and we’ve had a lot of fun this week showcasing our dried arrangements and seeing so many of them go to new homes!

As well as our little mini bunches that are perfect for your bud vases, we’ve got 4 designs this year: British Garden, Boho, Summer & Tropical. We’ve got more available all weekend (and hopefully more on the regular now!) so swing by for a little browse!

Big shout out to our floral team & who have done a magnificent job on these as usual - whilst also smashing out the fresh deliveries too! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

🇬🇹 NEW GUEST 🇬🇹

And this is a bit exciting! If you’ve been to LP over the last few years you’ll have met our Head Barista by now, and no doubt enjoyed a perfectly brewed coffee and a lovely chat! Well last year she launched - roasting coffees direct from her family’s farm in Huehuetenango, Guatemala! Finca La Bolsa has been in the family since 1958 and we’ve had several lots from them over the years via - always blowing us away.

We’re just a tad proud of Marcella for stepping into the roasting world, and genuinely producing some stand-out roasts that showcase her family’s skill and legacy so so well! Over the next few weeks you’ll see on our menu, plus bags on the shelves to take home. Please come and support this amazing new business, and make sure you ask Marcella (or any of our team) all about them too!

And it gets better…this Sunday (20th July) we’ll be hosting a free ‘Meet The Roaster’ event over at our Southbourne store from 3-4pm. You’ll be able to taste a bunch of coffees, hear all about the Tierra58 story, fire questions Marcella’s way, and meet a load of other coffee enthusiasts. If you’d like to come along, drop us a DM and we’ll pop you on the list!
