Wizards and witches united for Toby's 8th birthday on Sunday and boy did we have a blast! On arrival, everyone took a turn at the sorting had to find out which house they were in. Then wands were created and chosen at Olivander's wand shop and they went through platform 9 and 3/4 to Hogwarts for their first charms class. They even cast their first spell to burst a balloon! The wizards and witches decorated their very own spell and potion books and the fun was completed with a yummy owl delivery of food (scroll to the last photo to see!).

The attention to detail at this party was phenomenal! Huge respect goes to chief magic makers Clare and Rich for being the best parents ever! I'm honoured to have been a part of the magic ✨

⚠ UPDATE for Sunday's Christmas craft class🎄
My Christmas beaded decoration workshop is still going ahead on Sunday morning.

The Alpine Lodge and Bournemouth Christmas Market have sadly announced that they are closing this weekend due to storm Darragh. I've been working hard to find an alternative venue if the Lodge remains closed on Sunday and I'm pleased to say that South Coast Makers Market has very kindly offered us space.

5 days to go until my first Christmas workshop at Bournemouth Christmas Market ✨🎄

On Sunday the 8th of December I'll be hosting 2 workshops in the fabulously festive Alpine Lodge.

We'll be making 3 beautiful beaded Christmas decorations and if there's time, you can try your hand at designing your own. Each person will take the decorations home to treasure forever or you could gift them to a loved one or even use them to decorate your gift packaging.

Book the kids on for a Christmas treat or use it as bribery before going Christmas shopping. You could even book for the whole family to spend quality time together and make Christmas memories.

Get the kids involved in Christmas prep this weekend 🧑‍🎄
Dig out some beads and pipe cleaners, then get the kids to make a personalised napkin ring/place setting for each of your guests for Christmas Day.

If you don't have letter beads, just make each one different with the colours that each person loves. They'll be a lovely heirloom to bring out year after year or a cute keepsake for Nanny and Grandpa ❤.

Happy 7th birthday to Georgina! 🎈
She celebrated yesterday with her friends at a teddy making party. We stuffed soft and fluffy 16 inch teddies, made wishes on their hearts, filled in birth certificates, made beaded collars and friendship bracelets and decorated teddy t-shirts. Phew!

It's just the cutest party for kids. Georgina's 10 year old sister and her friend loved it as much as the 7 year olds! 🩷

Teddy names included Twix, Oreo and Snickers! I loved the theme! 🥳

🌷 Easy Valentine's Pipe Cleaner Flowers 🌷 You'll need 4 pipe cleaners (one green and 3 in a colour of your choice), plus extra green pipe cleaners cut in half for leaves and also sticky gems or pearls. How to make pipe cleaner flowers; 1. Fold all of the pipe cleaners in half. 2. Twist them all together so you have 8, shorter pipe cleaners. 3. Roll all the coloured pipe cleaner stems in a coil to the middle, to form the flower. 4. Coil one of the green pipe cleaner halves around the stem near the flower. 5. Twist half of a green pipe cleaner onto the stem to create a leaf. 6. Add gems to the flower. As well as planning parties, I’m the proud co-founder of Mini Makes and Bakes, where, together with Sarah B (Biscuits By Sarah B) we run themed biscuity, crafty sessions for 2-5 year olds and also school holiday classes for older children.
