Unsurprisingly, Open Sauce borrows heavily from the 'Open Source' software movement which is reported to have started in California in 1998. The founding principles being that the ’source code’ of software should be made freely available to all. Enabling access, development and sharing across a community to benefit all users. Born of a desire to unite and inspire the creative, digital and business

communities of Bournemouth, Poole and the wider South Coast; Open Sauce is a place for people from all works of life to connect, learn and share. Open Sauce was founded by Matt Desmier, Giles Vincent and George Beverley.

Poor old George Beverley won’t be at the dinner at Hotel du Vin on the 2nd December as he’s tested positive for Covid-19. We wish him a speedy recovery.
