What’s on Weekly?

Good morning one and all and welcome to a new week at The Factory Space…

This week we have several things on and are also starting with some private & corporate work too…

Monday 10th

TPG - Twynham Panto Group are with us rehearsing for their Panto “Beauty & the Beast” taking place here with us at the end of April. 19:00-21:00 in the Studio.

The Factory Improv join us for their rehearsal in our Bar & Lounge from 19:30-21:30… their show is on the 22nd February & tickets are still available to purchase… see our website.

Tuesday 11th

Twerk Liberation has their weekly course in the Studio from 18:00-21:00

Jack Fenton - Dorset Dog Trainer hosts another week of training for their dog clients. 18:30-20:30 in the Theatre.

Wednesday 12th

We welcome Funky Little Beach Choir to our Bar & Lounge area for their weekly rehearsal… this takes place from 10:30-12:00… for more info on how to join in contact Sandie.

Auger Collective join us on Wednesday evening in the Bar & Lounge for their presentation to creatives & artists. Contact them if you’d like to book a space…

Need Nights at the Factory Space continue as usual from 18:00-22:00 in our Studio for board gamers and D&D. Contact Steph Gee to book your space. £6.00pp entry.

Thursday 13th

The Enchanted Nanny joins us for storytime & song in our Studio. Contact their Instagram for details on time slots & payments.

Creative Mind Space group joins us in the Café from 14:00-15:30… bring your craft and come and create with like-minded people.

“Fireflies” are with us for their rehearsal in our Studio from 18:00-20:00.

Friday 14th

Gemini Elite Performers Academy have the Studio from 09:00-12:00 for their 3 weekly classes. Contact Ellie Miley to find out how to book a place.

Tenor Ladies at Large are rehearsing in the Studio drom 16:00-18:00 for their production of “It’s a DRAG… pretending to be something you’re not!”… coming Easter weekend.

Sunday 16th

Centrelight Studios joins us for their first “Anthem in a Day” in our Bar & Lounge from 10:00-17:00 with performance at 18:00 at our Musical Theatre Open Mic.
Join them - £20.00pp for the day including entry to Open Mic. Book with Centrelight.

Twynam Panto Group are rehearsing again in the Studio from 13:00-17:00

Musical Theatre Open Mic is on in the Theatre from 17:00-19:00, £3.00pp entry. Book your slot to sing if you want to with Stuart Darling.

The Factory Players Improv Workshop takes place in the Studio from 19:30-21:30

Tenor Ladies at Large are rehearsing in the Bar & Lounge from 19:30-21:30 for “Go West Again!”… this airline flight show has been moved to the end of March…

Today we were delighted to host a tea party for the elderly… 16 in total with the drivers… Andrew Jones baked up a storm & volunteers, Matt, Ollie, Keely & Mel did a fantastic job assisting with the preparing, serving & clearing up…

On a personal note, I’d like to say that I felt it a very fitting way to remember my father today on the 11th anniversary of his passing. 31/03/1940-09/02/2014…

What’s on weekly?

Hi everyone, what a crazy few days it’s been. We have got so much lined up for you that we are excited about. We can’t wait to share it all!

This week @ The Factory Space…

Our cafe is open as usual for sweet treats & some savoury items are starting to appear too… daily 09:00-16:00 & Sundays 10:00-15:00… free WiFi, children’s play area and dogs are welcome too.

Tuesday 04th

Tonight we have Jack Fenton - Dorset Dog Trainer in with his classes. Contact Jack to find out more about how to sign up to them. They will be in the Theatre from 18:30-20:30

We also have Daisy Sheldon offering her Liberated women course in the Studio from 18:00-21:00.

Wednesday 05th

Our Nerd Nights continue for board games and D&D. These take place in the Studio from 18:00-22:00. £6.00pp and bookings are through Steph Gee.

Thursday 06th

In the morning we have sessions with The Enchanted Nanny. Contact her on her Instagram to find out more about story & song.

In the afternoon from 14:00-15:30 we have “Creative Mind Space” our new craft club meeting in the cafe. Bring your own craft along. Contact Anna Bee for more info.

Saturday 8th

Gemini Elite Performers Academy are in the studio from 09:00-12:00 for their weekly classes. Contact Ellie Miley for details on how to join.

The Autistic Women’s Club meets in our Bar & Lounge area this Saturday from 13:00-15:00… contact them for details. Bookings through Eventbrite.

Sunday 09th

We have TPG - Twynham Panto Group in the Studio from 13:00-17:00 rehearsing for “Beauty & the Beast” which takes to our stage in April. Book through our website.

From 15:00-17:00 we are hosting a tea party for a group of elderly members of the community in the cafe.

17:00-19:00 in the Theatre we have our Musical Theatre Open Mic… this has fast become the highlight of the week. The community is growing. £3.00pp gets you in for a unique weekly show of local talent performing songs from Musicals, stage & screen. Book your performance slot with Stuart Darling.

19:30-21:30 in the Studio we have the Factory Improv course running. Students are being trained weekly and put through their paces in this six week workshop. Keep your eyes peeled for their showcase evening at the end of the course.

19:30-21:30 in the Theatre, Tenor Ladies at Large are rehearsing for “Go West… Again!” This airline flight show has been rescheduled to March… see the website for details!

And finally… if you’ve not been down, come on down!!! Our gorgeous windows are freshly cleaned by Visually clean & we have a beautiful valentines display in them by the talented team from Party Boutique UK.
