Join us at the stunning Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens for a fabulous charity ball!
Our event is being held in memory of Riley Blaker, a very special little boy from Weymouth who sadly passed away at age 5 following a DIPG brain tumour diagnosis. Riley inspired so many with his courage and joy for life so we want to share that joy through hosting an exceptional evening of fun and glamour whilst raising funds for two awesome charities.
These very worthy, parent-led charities both work so hard to improve the lives of children and their families at their most difficult times. The Lexi May Trust (registered charity no. 1169177) are a Dorset based charity set up to fund family days out for children diagnosed with a terminal or life limiting illness. The charity was set up when Carly and Michael Hopkin lost their daughter Lexi May to DIPG in 2016. Abbie’s Army (registered charity no. 1149400) are a UK charity raising funds solely for DIPG research after the loss of their daughter Abbie in 2011. Currently there is no government funding for this area so research is so very important.
So what's included with your ticket?
Our Las Vegas themed event starts at 6pm in the lush Subtropical Gardens.
Guests will be greeted with a welcome drink followed by two course tapas style sit down buffet in the marquee beside the West Lawn.
Casino tables to spend some 'fun money' (with a prize for the most won at the end of the night) and a disco to help us party the night away on the dance floor.
A raffle with some fabulous prizes.
Free parking (vehicles can be left on site for collection the following day).
The dress code is ‘glitz and glamour’ – we want this event to be fun and accessible to all!
