Rebecca recently headed over to the beautiful Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, with its own micro-climate in a sheltered woodland valley on the Jurassic Coast. The special plant collection there has been built up over the last quarter of a century!

You may have seen this completed Ireland stand at IMEX 24 in our last post - here's a shot from behind the scenes, bringing the concept to life.

It takes many hours of work to create the final looks throughout the stands we work on - we hope you've enjoyed seeing both behind the scenes and the finished effects!

The Ireland stand at IMEX 24 - complete with sheep! We loved the concept of this stand, choosing mostly plants that are indigenous to Ireland, mirroring some of the colours you see through the Irish landscape incorporating ferns and grasses.

Sustainability and minimising waste is so important to us - so we were thrilled when arranged for Stiftung Waisenhaus orphanage to have the leftover florals from after the IMEX 24 events had finished.

Most went to this charity, and the remainder that could not fit in the transport was picked up by Messe Frankfurt staff - we estimate approximately 136 kg of Elevations florals was donated at IMEX Frankfurt 2024!

We’ve got a today to ILTM Cannes 2024 - the flagship luxury travel trade show that includes pre-scheduled appointments, educational sessions, networking, and glamorous parties. We designed and created floral and planted designs for 47 stands for across the trade show with a team of 16 florists!

The location was also a gorgeous place to visit! (see the last image!)

Funeral flowers are a poignant expression and comfort to the person saying goodbye....

The family that had chosen this tribute each specified a colour that they would like included so I chose a mix of delicate and focal florals to depict their wishes.

As promised - a more detailed summary and a final walk through of our recent floral installation work at Wild by Tart for the Small Luxury Hotel group. The client had envisaged a collaboration of different artisans to feature at the event; the flowers, the terrariums and the ceramicist. The brief for the florals included subtle, fresh colour tones of blues, creams, burnt oranges & greens with natural elements of wood & moss. Being creative and making stuff has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Not knowing which path to take and where to chanel my creativity I accidently stumbled upon the world of 'Floristry'.

'Floristry' to me is so much more than just placing flowers in a vase, just as a painter learns the value of colour and texture to create beautiful paintings, having that understanding of the different elements and principles of design have allowed me to become more expressive and free with my work.
