Can you imagine on your Wedding day not feeling the most beautiful you’ve ever felt, being conscious in front of the camera and getting your professional photos back and not being happy with how you look…? Doesnt that sound awful? I personally think Makeup is a crucial part of your Wedding day. We set the tone for the morning, we wipe away the tears or in my case really try hard to prevent them by distraction and trying to make everyone laugh, we cut tags from dresses, glue necklaces to backs, help with shoes, make sure you’re hydrated, find bridal party who have gone missing in the corridor’s … just to name a few things 🤣Do prioritise booking your Makeup Artist (hopefully me 😉) ASAP. What can I say… My gorgeous Bride Roanna found me online, came to a @berkshireweddingfairs to meet me and secured me there and then! I actually love that too. No messing around, no reaching out to loads of artist’s and being confused about who to book. She liked my work, came to suss me out, luckily for me she liked me in person and then booked me 🩷If you find booking your suppliers a minefield, don’t approach tones of them. Maybe 2-3 if you need to compare prices. If you like someones work, just book them 🩷 Recommendations are also amazing so speak to your friends about who they used or ask me 😉 Anyway enough of that! @roannacollis26 opted for a soft glam makeup with some classic cluster lashes. She looked absolutely glowing. Hair by the ever so talented @francescabridalhair Huge Congratulation’s Roanna. Beautiful @sammis2012 on her Wedding day back in the summer. In the lead up to the big day she had a few worries, skin reactions along the way and wanting to change her look but not sure to what. So on the day we did exactly what we did in the trial but choose a more neutral shade on her eye vs the gold eye shadow we used in her trial. She couldn’t have been happier and looked so beautiful on her big day. Its OK to not be 100% sure in a trial. It was such a simple quick fix and i’m just so pleased she felt the most confident she has ever felt. Many Congratulations Sam. Thank you so much for picking me to be part of your special morning.
