The Greens Team are Koro'ing the greens today. 30mm deep slits are cut into the surface of the green and any thatch buildup underneath is removed. The process allows more air, water and nutrients to reach the roots - the end result is healthier turf and a better, smoother playing surface.

We Verti-Drained the greens earlier this week. The tines punch holes in the surface of the green, allowing air and water to reach the roots - improving drainage and overall health and also encouraging deeper root growth.

We are Earthquaking the course's fairways this week. Earthquaking cuts deep slits into the turf - which not only helps with drainage but also cuts through thatch, helping water and air to reach the roots and improving the overall health of the turf.

West Bradford is a private members golf club set around a historic, 300 year old, Grade II listed Clubhouse.

The golf course is a classic, mature parkland course. Originally constructed by James Carter & Co London, in 1900 - who also constructed the Old Course at Sunningdale, and then re-designed by FG & FW Hawtree in the 1940's - the architects behind Royal Birkdale, Royal Aberdeen & Foxhills - West Bradford boasts a golf course with real golfing pedigree, it is undoubtedly one of the finest and most characterful golf courses in the West Yorkshire region.
