• GLOWING EMBERS or SWEET DELIGHT ?•
Which is your favourite? I love them both! Full of detail and textures with limonium sinensis and colourful fresh berries added throughout.

I spend many months every year developing and making very unique designs. It always feels like a knock when other local florists produce a very very similar design. I personally don’t feel the need to take others ideas, my brain is already swimming in ideas 💡 and they might say that copying is the highest form of flattery but, please do remember I’ve worked so hard to perfect these designs and particular combinations of materials, these are my babies and my pride and joy.

I am already thinking and developing 2025 designs! I dream of their names and just what would make my Ivy & Eve Wreaths completely bespoke.

I will be making up some ad-hoc designs and random combinations over Thursday and Friday and posting them for sale! I might even throw a special offer or deal! Maybe even a prize draw 😊

• SYMPATHY FLOWERS •
This arrangement was for the farewell service of my friend Jo’s late mother earlier today. I created a similar designed arrangement, without the need for oasis, for Jo’s father who passed only a year or two ago.
I am so sorry for your loss Jo, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.

At Ivy & Eve we do our upmost to be as environmentally conscious about the purpose of our flowers, we want them to be loved and enjoyed and live their full vase life.

I have chosen to develop this super alternative option by created tied sheaf, or flat bouquets, which lay and then link together to create a casket spray. I can see why these are becoming popular as they are easy to transport and can be taken home by family members to enjoy.

I also create wreaths using homemade willow bases which are fully biodegradable, and these could be left at a memorial or hung on your door.
I am still happy to create full casket sprays, where the flowers could be re-purposes in jam jars, and wreaths using (bio version)oasis, which are to be placed at another memorial stone or used as a candle table centrepiece.

If you ever have a loss in your family and would love to have farewell flowers which take into account the natural beauty of flowers and have more purpose to them, so they can be enjoyed in memory of your loved one, then please get in touch.

🔥 G L O W I N G E M B E R S 🔥
Soft glowing golds and bronze in this beautiful winter wreath. Traditional, but with the contrasting twist of the purple limonium, with orange slices, wooden stars and cinnamon. Makes me feel all cosy and snuggly!

Fulfilling orders for this one, as well as my other three designs over this week. All recent orders placed for any design or size will be completed over following week, with all wreaths being completed by the weekend of 14th December.

…well it was Friday Night! This lovely, lively private group return year on year, bring lots of Christmas cheer and festive spirit 😉

Laura, her mum Debs, Maria, Kate, and newbies Ellie and Paige joined us to see what all the fuss was about, and why my wreath workshops are just so much fun!

We created unique and beautiful wreaths with gold metallic dipped conifer, yellow Ilex berries and those cute wooden Reindeer were a favourite! I particularly loved Kate’s, who had a vision of what she wanted to create. “It’s my best wreath so far” with it co-ordinating with her home decor!

Love you ladies, see you for the Spring Wreath Workshop, when we turn these festive wreaths to living bulb wreaths!

• WREATH WORKSHOP 26th Nov •
A super duper night last night! We welcomed Emily and her mum Kate, I see Emily every month when I bring her Flower Club bouquet, this is the first time they’ve made a door wreath too!
Hello again to Rachel and Helen, I see these two every year for flowers and workshops and they love they receive that bit of guidance to ensure their wreath is perfect!
And Sandrine, who has been one of Ivy & Eve’s best customers for many years, purchasing everything from bouquets, wreaths, planters and even hanging baskets!

I’m so proud of this group, focused and making their best efforts to create their own personal wreath. With that little bit of assistance from me, we looked at how to use the foliage and add in decorations to bring balance and patterns.

I hope my love for teaching, and for wreath-making shines through. It’s all about having fun, feeling comfortable and getting into the creative festive spirit! The Prosecco definitely helps!

Soft pastel pinks and lavender for this wreath design.
• Sea lavender with Pepper Berries are the main wow factor in this design, with and coordinating mini baubles.
• Blue Spruce with the feature foliages of Grevillea and Sussex silver to soften and lighten the look.
• The pink snowflake bow has two slight variations but both very similar shade of pink.

• Make your wreath the traditional mossed method as well as backing your wreath to retain moisture and protect your door
• Guaranteed small classes of six gives everyone equal opportunity to receive additional tuition

Workshops take approximately 2 and a half hours, we start at 7pm and are £55 per person to make one of my medium-sized luxury wreaths.

🎄SUN 24th NOV - 1st WORKSHOP 🎄
Perfect start to Ivy & Eve Winter Wreath Workshops!
We welcomed back and her group, Fi, Josie and Nat who brought with them some homegrown Eucalyptus to add into their wreaths, and newbies Natalie and Debs.

We had a beautiful array of unique wreath colour combinations, with Kylie going for an effective festive red ilex berries and white limonium, and I loved the simplicity of the pinky natural tones in Natalie’s wreath.

They were all great, I can ensure I assist you when you need it. That’s one of the things I love about teaching in a more cosy environment, that I have the opportunity to guide you with placement and techniques to help you.

Thank you for joining me on the earliest winters wreath workshop held so far, this year is my 8th year of teaching classes (first one was 2017)!

Looking forward to creating more wreaths, and hosting more workshops over the coming weeks,

My favourites from this week’s festive feel flowers with red Naomi roses, which are my firm favourites with a soft scent and velvet petals, red Ilex berries, pink Oriental Lilies with white Lisianthus, Alstromerias, Scabiosa seedheads, Limonium and beautiful Sussex Silver, Eucalyptus Glaus and Parvi from Irish Green Guys.

I’m now fully sold out of flowers, and sorry but it’ll be a fortnight to wait till I next get my next lot of fresh flowers in.
I’ll be focused on delivering the best Wreath Workshops over the next two weeks and fulfilling your Winter Wreath orders!

Look out for a showcase post on each wreath design over next week!! As there is still time to order for 4th Dec-9th Dec!
For everyone else who has already placed your order, and paid deposit/full amount, your wreaths will be solely created by me and be ready to collect 28 Nov-3rd Dec!

About Us

Let me explain… Ivy & Eve is the joining of my first loves – all things flowers and my first born daughter Evie. Together I feel this name represents a couple of the things that bring me joy!

My journey began long before I qualified as a florist in 2016, as I always had a love for flowers and a serious case of Green Fingers! I have more than 10 years of experience in the floristry and horticulture industry.

We run the business from Baildon, a West Yorkshire village surrounded by striking countryside, and beautiful wedding locations that my brides choose to celebrate their big days. Nearby are the ideal wedding venues Hollins Hall Hotel, The Chevin Hotel & Spa and The Old Barn Esholt.

I pride myself on offering a truly bespoke service to my clients, whether they want me to work with their personal preferences or for me to guide them with my carefully selected choices. All designed after chatting together, over a coffee, about how you would like your beautiful blooms to look.
