Beautiful gift bouquets last week using pretty pastel shades of pink, mauve, peach, cream and blue.

I love creating these beautiful tributes, especially hearts. This bespoke heart wreath was a tribute from the family’s nieces and nephews who were making the journey from Kent for Auntie Audrey’s farewell service on Friday.

We had an in-depth chat over the phone about the colours their Auntie would have loved, we went for vibrant cherry pink, mauve, peach and pink roses, along with a touch of blue and white to make the colours really stand out.

I adore it’s vibrancy and how personal we made this arrangement. As I’m sold out of flowers, I’ll be taking the weekend off work, to enjoy being out in nature with my dog and recharging my batteries! I will be responding to messages on Monday.

I kept a few beauties, along with a few stems of eucalyptus and my Christmas Ilex berries and white Cymbidium Orchid blooms are still going.

• A WINTERS SKY •
Yesterday was the farewell service for my friend’s Gran. She loved the pastel blue and especially forget-me-nots, although not yet seasonally available I found the perfect flowers, Oxypetalum and Delphinium, combined with the cream Roses and Snapdragons and those delicate, fragrant Paperwhites and Ginister.

I think this casket arrangement looks stunning and a lot like the winter sky, with that lovely blue and fluffy little white clouds blowing gently across the sky.

This arrangement is foam-free and my signature design, the bouquets are created in their traditional tied sheaf shape, which have been laid together in such a way to create a seamless flow of flowers. After the service the family can easily transport each bouquet to their homes to enjoy these fresh flowers in a vase.

Cannot wait for my flowers to arrive tomorrow and over the rest of the week. I’ll be carefully conditioning and sorting some beautiful flowers in readiness for some sympathy arrangements.

As beautiful as you are, I’ve had a week of not feeling my motivated self, not being able to get out and I’ve had both kids at home and it’s been a little frustrating getting work done!

So I’ve taken time out to enjoy having them about; baking and cooking, doing some maths of which I still don’t understand, and taking the dog on short walks.

So here’s to a fun week creating some beautiful heartfelt flower arrangements, fresh flower bouquets available Wed-Fri in peaches, pinks, cream and pastel blues and mauve inspired by those wintery sunset walks with Pebbles, who has snuggled by my side and kept me warm at night x

Ivy & Eve values the importance of re-using and re-cycling where possible. That’s why we are happy to accept your finished Ivy & Eve Winter Wreaths.

I can then safely dismantle, compost and recycle them. There’s hidden metal which will have already started degrading down and I’d rather it be me to take the chances as I know how my wreaths are constructed.

If you are interested in ordering a one of my signature living Spring Wreaths this February/March time or coming to my Spring Wreath-making workshops (dates to be announced).

And as an extra incentive to bring your wreath back for another life, there’s a £5 discount applied to the new wreath/workshop price. So what’s not to love about that!

Please message me to arrange a suitable drop off date so I know whose wreath has magically appeared and I can make sure your name tag is attached.

I started my journey into Floristry 11 years ago this month. As a qualified horticulturalist and garden designer, I decided to venture in the direction of floristry.
As a naturally creative left-handed person, I immersed myself into training. I did every course going! Gained the formal qualifications and I’ve now added on my Level 3 in Teaching for adults and further education.

My word is BELIEVE. Believe you can do it!
For me to have faith in the strength of my skills and lifetime of flower knowledge to strive to reach my goals.

That I can continue to grow, focus and fulfil my passion as an independent, bespoke florist in Baildon. If you could only choose one word as your aim for 2025, which word would be the best representation for it?

Just came across this winter bouquet delivered this time three years ago, and I thought it really suited the snowy weather, and it made me smile as these are some of my very favourite flowers!

I’ll be now working on admin, my tax return and planning for my workshops. I want to focus on these and of course bespoke weddings, personal eco-conscious sympathy flowers as these are something which makes Ivy & Eve stand out and be special ❤️ and creating beautiful premium gift bouquets like this for years to come x

Sadly I am unable to deliver bouquets 24/12-02/01 due to limitations of fresh flower availability. I am also with my children for two weeks in summer 18/07-25/07 and 22/08-29/08, so any special dates that fall within these will need to be delivered little earlier or later.

I think this is a fantastic idea! Especially if you would usually purchase special occasion flowers, with that cute 10% saving as a bundle, how can you resist!

About Us

Let me explain… Ivy & Eve is the joining of my first loves – all things flowers and my first born daughter Evie. Together I feel this name represents a couple of the things that bring me joy!

My journey began long before I qualified as a florist in 2016, as I always had a love for flowers and a serious case of Green Fingers! I have more than 10 years of experience in the floristry and horticulture industry.

We run the business from Baildon, a West Yorkshire village surrounded by striking countryside, and beautiful wedding locations that my brides choose to celebrate their big days. Nearby are the ideal wedding venues Hollins Hall Hotel, The Chevin Hotel & Spa and The Old Barn Esholt.

I pride myself on offering a truly bespoke service to my clients, whether they want me to work with their personal preferences or for me to guide them with my carefully selected choices. All designed after chatting together, over a coffee, about how you would like your beautiful blooms to look.
