Last night while snuggled up all cosy in my bed I decided to see what this game was all about. Adventures in the Magic Kingdom on the NES. I had no idea what this game was when I bought it but being a disney freak I had to get it. It's actually a really sweet game where your character goes round the magic kingdom answering disney related questions to collect keys to let you into the rides, which are mini games 🏰 This will not be everyone's cup of tea, it's very simple (if you know your disney trivia) but I really enjoyed playing this last night and it was a good little disney fix for me. Some of the rides featured are Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Autopia, The Haunted Mansion and It's a small world and that's good enough for me 😁

I haven't done a racing competition since the first Mario Kart competition so... At the next Retro Gaming Club I am holding a 🏍 Road Rash 🏍 competition played on the Sega Mega Drive. It's £1 to enter and the fasted finish time wins a prize 🏆 If two people get the same finish time then it will go to a knock out and you'll have to race against each other! Engines at the ready! 🏁

I visited the Pacman pop up store in the Bandai store in Camden Town yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised because the merchandise wasn't overpriced at all and we had a few games on the world's largest pacman machine which will be coming to arcades around the country 😁

I've waited 32 years to have a NES in my bedroom and today is finally the day 😁 I was always so jealous of all my "cool" friends who had the NES and even more jealous of the ones who's parents allowed them to have their NES in their actual bedroom! 🤣 That was the dream after all! Today the 8 year old child in me finally has her dream 😅 How cool am I?! 😂😂

Has anyone else been going to the cinema every weekend to see the star wars films? Me and my son are going every Sunday to watch them all in order and today we saw Episode 3 which is one of my favourites. I'm a big Obi-Wan fan so I'm carrying on Star Wars Sunday by playing this 🤩

Yesterday I went to the Retro Room arcade in Great Yarmouth. I could of stayed here forever! It had some classic arcade machines and was good value for money. I paid £10 for 30 tokens and that was plenty for me and the two kids. It's only small but it's a really nice addition to the seafront. It's located next to the model village and old penny arcade up the Wellington pier end of the seafront. I'm not sure if this is going to be open all year round, I have a feeling it's seasonal opening so check their website before going 👾

How much fun was it last night at the Retro Gaming Club!!

Results are in for the Space Invaders Competition 👾

In 3rd place we have Tracy Arnold with a score of 600! 🎖👏

In 2nd place Pat Balcombe with a score of 660! 🏅(go on Pat! 💪)

And in 1st place, finally a win for James Balcombe with a score of 960! 🏆 Well done James 👏

Big shout out to Tilly as well, who had never played space invaders before. She came in with a score of 550 after only a couple of practices which is pretty cool! So great job Tilly 👏

I am loving this game 😍 I have been obsessed with rainbows since I was a kid when one of my favourite cartoons was Rainbow Brite! So the fact that you can shoot rainbows in this game is awesome 🌈

This game cartridge has been a game changer on this weekend away. I haven't had to be so selective with the games I've packed as I already have 150 on this cartridge!! I've brought a few extra games with me but for once my bag hasn't been bursting with GameBoy games 😂

Thanks to everyone who came to the retro gaming club last night. It was a great night with faces old and new!

Results are in for the Tetris competition...

In 3rd place we have Pat Balcombe with 88 lines 🏆

In 2nd place with have a tie between James Balcombe and Stuart Ann N Stuart Allen with 96 lines 🏆

And in 1st place with a pretty impressive score of a whopping 130 lines!! We have Jacob Samuel 🏆🎉 I must admit watching Jacob play Tetris was pretty impressive so well done Jacob. You are officially the Tetris champion 🎉

Thanks to everyone who took part. It was fun even though some of us did come away seeing squares and had watering eyes 😂

The next Retro Gaming Club takes place this Tuesday 7pm - 9pm at The Notleys Golf Club and I've decided that we are going to do a Tetris competition. We are going for the most LINES! It will be set up on the NES and you can go up anytime throughout the night, put £1 in the cup to enter and record your name and how many lines you got on the paper that I'll leave next to it. There is a prize to be won so get some practice in before Tuesday! 🏆
