The Wedding Barn at Old Hall is a beautiful rurally located Grade II listed Suffolk barn nestled next to the pretty village of Steeple Bumpstead, restored to its original glory to provide a picturesque wedding venue.
The explosion of colour for Charlotte & Carmine’s wedding was exceptionally dramatic - and this was before the flowers from the church arrived to adorn the table ends and top table! You’ll have to take our word for it that it was one of the most beautiful wedding receptions we’ve had in our lovely old barn 🌹🌸🌺💐🌻🌷🌼🪻

Just because we are a it doesn’t mean you have to get married here! We have a lovely selection of churches in our parish if you would prefer a church wedding, or alternatively you can get married in your favourite church and then come to us for your wedding reception and party!

A dry hire venue means that you have a blank canvas upon which to create the wedding of your dreams which is totally unique to you. The beauty of a dry hire venue like is that you can let your imagination run wild with ideas for decorating. G & R had always envisaged a marquee wedding reception, but using our swathes of muslin and filling our big hoop chandeliers with bursting British blooms helped to soften our lovely old barn’s interior and add the romance of a traditional English marquee wedding 🌸

G&R really wanted to create a feeling of the ceiling being lined like a marquee, so lots of lovely white draping to contrast against the wooden beams, brick and flint walls, with heaps of greenery and seasonal flowers. Trailing fairy lights helped to add that extra sparkle and twinkle.
