The First Dance ✨

The first dance at a wedding is a symbolic tradition, marking the start of the celebration and the couple’s new life together. Its origin dates back to the 17th century, where the guest of honour would dance to open the ball, and invite other guests to join. Earlier roots say it was the groom proudly dancing his bride around a fire.

Today, it continues as a beautiful moment to begin the reception, honoring love and unity.
