🔦 Member Spotlight: Neil Bearne 🔦

Our member spotlight is back, shining a light on our awesome members.

First up this year is our current Club Champion, Neil Bearne; all-round fantastic guy with a high golf IQ – a great playing partner if you’re lucky enough to be drawn with him.

Neil grew up playing golf with his twin brother and Grandad and absolutely loves it. He is very competitive so that drives him to improve his game as much as possible so he can try to beat his brother!

Neil has a physically demanding job in property renovation so he really looks forward to getting out on the golf course every Saturday to escape the daily grind, unwind and have some laughs with his playing partners.

Neil has been a member at Cheadle Golf Club for 8 years and says, “the members and staff are great and there’s always a really friendly vibe at the club house. I also take my 6-year-old son to Cheadle’s Junior Golf Academy and he loves it too so I’m looking forward to both of us spending many more years at the club together”.

We absolutely love having you Neil – wishing you and your son a brilliant year at Cheadle Golf Club 🏌

Cheadle Golf Studio located at Cheadle Golf Club is an indoor golf facility where you can book private golf lessons with the pro Tom Clancy. You can alternatively book the studio to practice on your own or use the sim and play some of the best courses in the word using the GC Quad.

What better hole to start with than our easiest hole, Squirrels Jump, sponsored by Harold Stock & Co Solicitors. An innocent-enough looking par 3, 95yds - 97yds, to be exact.

The green is heavily guarded by 6 bunkers, making its approach more sand than grass! Come up short and take your punishment, or overshoot and fight your way out of the dell!

🎅 Roll up, roll up, it's the Pro's Christmas Draw! 🎅

Our legendary draw is back on Sunday 15th December, from 12pm.

With thousands of pounds worth of prizes to be won, Christmas really will come early for our lucky winners!

Buy your tickets in advance from the Pro Shop, just £1 each or £5 for 6 tickets, or purchase on the day.

🎼 🎺 Brass Band Evening at Cheadle Golf Club 🎺 🎼

There's nothing like the sound of a brass band to kick off the festive season, so we are very excited to welcome back the tremendous Hawk Green Brass Band.

Date: Saturday 7th December
Time: 6:30pm
Tickets: £17 per person, including a home roast beef or vegan sausage bap with chips.

❤ Lest We Forget ❤

On Sunday 10th November, our members played in a competition in recognition of those friends and family who have been lost in recent times, to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Congratulations to the winning team; Karim Shokraee, Tom Carter, Danny Pryke and Jay Dempsey - well played chaps, and a huge thank you to everyone who took part.

We raised £200.00 for the Royal British Legion in the process, so a very special day all round ❤

👻 Our Spooktacular Night Golf Winners! 🎃

Think the golfing season is over? Not on our watch!

Last night, 11 teams braved the dark to play a spooky round of Night Golf - brilliant fun!

Congratulations to the winning team; Ashley Norris, Dean Ellison, James Hammersley and Anthony Yates (unfortunately Anthony had to dash before the presentation) - well done chaps!

Huge thanks to our amazing Cheadle Greenkeepers for prepping the holes and blowing the leaves away, and our hard working hospitality team - the monster mash, spooky sausages and grave-y went down a treat.

❤️ Remembrance Day Competition ❤️

On Sunday 10th November at 1pm, we are holding a competition in recognition of those friends and family who have been lost in recent times.

The competition is open to all members, and our bar will be open from 12pm to 4pm so family and friends can relax and enjoy the surroundings whilst the competition is underway.

£10.00 per player, which includes a £5.00 donation to the Royal British Legion ❤️
