Massive congratulations to Iain and Cliff for smashing the Longest Day Golf Challenge!
Here's Iain's story, and why he wanted to take on this amazing challenge.
In 2017 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer, I was rushed to hospital and underwent major surgery to remove the Cancer, I ended up with a Stoma Bag. After 6 months of Chemotherapy at The Laurel Suite Stepping Hospital I can happily say I am now Cancer free and no longer have a Stoma Bag. We would like to raise as much money for Macmillan Cancer Support as we can; it is a great charity. I am sure most of us have been affected by Cancer in one way or another and would love to contribute to finding a cure.

The Ladies Overnighter is one of the golfing highlights in the club diary.
This year, we ventured out to Shaw Hill Golf & Spa Hotel for two days of amazing golf, glorious surroundings and fabulous company, brilliantly organised by Lady Captain, Carole Harvey.

Let's hear it for our new Captains! 👨✈️👩✈️
You’ve heard of Fred & Ginger and Torvill & Dean, now you can add Mr Captain, Alistair Culpan and Lady Captain, Carole Harvey, to the hall of fame.
Officially installed at our AGM on Friday 22nd March, they have both had their ‘Drive Ins’ and celebrated their first rounds at Cheadle. The sun even made an appearance which felt very special.
Alistair and Carole will be celebrating at their Incoming Captains Social on Saturday 6th April, with Legends of Soul singer, T-Kay – they would love you to join them on the dancefloor.
Huge thanks to Mark Gregory and Sue Shaw, our brilliant outgoing Captains, who can now relax put their feet up.
