Hot Hob jam 21-1-25

Better turn out this week with some of our regular guitarists returning after the Xmas break.

It seems strange not having to complain about the stage lights every week although the three lights at the back, being accessable, are always tampered with.
However it doesn't take long to reset them.
Glad to say that the volume was not a problem this week with everyone playing at a sensible level. Thanks ...

Very quiet week with only 8 jammers which was a pity as there was quite a few new watchers.
Let's hope it's only a blip and things will return to normal next week.

Hot Hob jam 7-1-25

A little quieter this week after our Xmas bash, but still a good crowd.
Nice to see Jimi Bude back at the jam after a long absence.
Thankful to have 3 vocalist as my vocal chords are a bit sluggish after the Xmas break.
All in all a good mix of musicians.
I was expecting an early night, but we finished at 11:25 with no time to get the house band back up.

Hot Hob Xmas jam 17-12-24

Great Xmas jam with 25 jammers & a packed house.
Unusually, some of our regular jammers were missing, but this was offset by 7 newbies.
The pub laid on a delicious buffet , big thanks to Mike Shewbroock the current manager.

By starting soon after 9:00 with just two house band songs, and finishing at midnight, Andy was able to arrange seven bands, 3 songs per set.
And there was just time for Michael Parker to finish the evening with Slade's Merry Christmas everybody.

Thanks to all that came and made for such an enjoyable evening.
Merry Christmas & Happy New years from all of us at the Hot Hob jam, hope to see you all next year.

NO JAM CHRISTMAS EVE or NEW YEARS EVE. We will be back on the 7th January.
