What are the prom dress trends for 2025?

It is still early, but for 2025, prom dress trends in the UK are going to be a mix of bold statements and modern twists on traditional designs.

We went all the way to the USA to buy our prom dresses, for our brand new prom dress shop in Essex. The Americans invented Prom, so we are definitely ahead of the curve when it comes to the hottest prom styles for 2025.

Vibrant Neon & Bright Colours - Neon pinks, greens, oranges, and electric blues will make a statement. An exciting departure from more subdued colours

Soft Pastels - On the other end of the spectrum, pastel shades like yellow, baby blue, lavender and pastel pink will remain a popular choice for a girly, softer feel.

Metallics - Metallic fabrics like gold, silver, and platinum will bring a touch of glamour and old school Hollywood prom style to the dance floor.

Florals - We saw a lot of florals at the American prom shows. It's a bold step away from the solid colours, whilst retaining feminine style and a different look from the rest of the crowd.

Ruffles - Always on trend for prom! We have several ruffle style dresses for Prom 2025. Ours ooze sophistication and glamour, whilst still being flattering to the figure and easy to wear.

Two Piece Prom Dresses - A more contemporary look and perfect for those who want to mix and match styles. This trend allows for more versatility in both style and comfort.

Backless and Cut-out Prom Dresses - Dresses with side or back cut-outs, asymmetrical necklines, and slits are all about showcasing a bit of skin in a chic, sophisticated way.
