Never tried a 3 D effect using the edible paper before. I don’t recommend it!! Unfortunately the butterflies wilted, even though they were secured to a a cocktail stick. Bit of a nuisance to rectify on delivery as well as the disappointment on opening the box 😔
All good in the end and thankfully it didn’t affect the cake.
….. just another day in Cake-Land, when things are sent to try us!

Triple layers of chocolate cake filled with berry jam, vanilla chantilly cream topped with my very own chewy meringue piled with strawberries and cream drizzled in white chocolate dark chocolate raspberry mallows & macarons.
Note the glossy meringue in the bowl which is one of the criteria’s. The 2nd photo of the bowl is me tipping it upside down testing if the peaks stayed firm and in the bowl, which they did 👏👩‍🍳
