Wowsers, what a busy day with St. Clare's School, Porthcawl year 3! We built shelters, had a go at archery, threw spears, experienced tracking, lit fires and toasted marshmallows! Amazing start to the week yesterday with year 6 from Cwrt Rawlin Primary School visiting the woods as part of their Adventure, Discover, Explore topic. I think the trip ticked all the boxes! They built dens, made fire, followed animal tracks through the woods and discovered crampballs for firelighting 🔥

I've had two days of epic adventures with Cefn Glas Infant School as part of their topic. We built natural shelters, lit fires, explored the woodland and followed deer tracks. Apparently it was 'the best school trip ever!' 🤩

The weather may have been wet and miserable today but my awesome archers brought summer fun 😎 Shout out to Oscar who challenged his dad! Rather than points Oscar walked away with his dad agreeing to tidy his room and won a whole 'yes day' all because he was on target !! 🎯Nice job Oscar !

Our activities include bushcraft (fire lighting through the ages, shelter building & more), archery and axe throwing.
