Hi All,
Hope you are well and keeping safe in these difficult times?
As you will be aware that usually BMTC hold their annual AGM in May however this has obviously not been possible. With this in mind your current committee met via the wonders of zoom and the outcome of the meeting is as follows.
- The Annual AGM will be rescheduled till 21/10/20 in the hope that we can get our membership in one place, this will obviously be reviewed information becomes available.
-People who are currently members will remain members until the AGM can be held.
-The current committee will remain also until the time when the AGM can be held.
-We still need people to come forward to be on the committee to fulfil the chairman, vice chairman, membership secretary, programme and sponsorship roles. Without people coming forward we may be in a position where the society cannot continue so we really need people to offer their time and support for our brilliant society to continue. If you think you could be that person please talk to us!
-Return to the forbidden planet will be rescheduled until summer 2021.
-Sister Act will not happen in February 2021 although an alternative date will be discussed when the new committee are in place.
